Ambassador Boštjan Malovrh presented his credentials to President Lương Cường in Hanoi on 3 October 2025. During the visit, he had a courtesy call with Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and held separate talks with Director General for Europe Bui Ha Nam and Head of the EU Delegation Julien Guerrier. The talks aimed to strengthen Slovenian-Vietnamese bilateral cooperation and cooperation within EU projects, with an emphasis on the economic and scientific-technological fields.
