No dia 13 de setembro, a Cônsul-Geral, acompanhada pelo Delegado AICEP/Xangai, participou na cerimónia de inauguração do Centro de Estudos dos Países e Regiões de Língua Portuguesa da Universidade de Xangai, seguida pelo 1º Seminário sobre o Intercâmbio de Civilizações entre a China e os países lusófonos.
9月13日，葡萄牙驻上海总领事和葡萄牙经贸投资促进局上海代表共同出席了上海大学葡语国家区域研究中心成立仪式，以及随后举行的首届中国—葡语国家文明互鉴研讨会。
On September 13th, the Consul-General, accompanied by the AICEP Delegate in Shanghai, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Center for Portuguese-Speaking Regions and Countries Studies at Shanghai University, followed by the 1st Seminar on the Exchange of Civilizations between China and Portuguese-speaking countries.
Marcou ainda presença Sr. Duan Yong, Vice-Secretário do Comité do Partido da Universidade de Xangai, Prof. Shang Xin, Diretor da Escola de Línguas Estrangeiras, e a Vice-Cônsul no Setor de Diplomacia Pública do Consulado-Geral do Brasil, entre outros peritos e académicos.
出席开幕式的嘉宾还有上海大学党委副书记段勇，上海大学外国语学院党委副书记、院长尚新，巴西驻上海总领事馆公共外交副领事以及其他专家学者。
Participants also included Mr. Duan Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai University, Professor Shang Xin, Director of the School of Foreign Languages, the Vice-Consul for Public Diplomacy from the Consulate-General of Brazil in Shanghai, as well as other experts and academics.
A abertura do Centro reflete a crescente importância atribuída pelas instituições académicas chinesas à aprendizagem do português.

The opening of the Center reflects the the rising emphasis by Chinese academic institutions on Portuguese learning.
Seguiu-se a inauguração simbólica da placa do Centro pelos representantes da China, Portugal e Brasil.
随后，中国、葡萄牙与巴西三国代表共同为上海大学葡语国家区域研究中心揭牌。
After that, representatives from China, Portugal, and Brazil jointly unveiled the plaque of the Center.
