No álbum Fados de Amor (com Rodrigo Costa Félix), foi a primeira vez na história do fado que um álbum foi inteiramente tocado e gravado na guitarra portuguesa por uma mulher — e esse disco conquistou o “Melhor Álbum do Ano 2012” atribuído pela Fundação Amália Rodrigues. Ainda pela mesma Fundação, Marta foi agraciada com o Prémio Instrumentista. -
A sua performance no programa Tiny Desk Concert da NPR (EUA) em 2023 acumulou cerca de 1 milhão de visualizações até hoje, ampliando sua projeção internacional. -
Em 2024, os concertos de estreia em Porto e Lisboa esgotaram — um símbolo de reconhecimento nacional. -
Em 2025, MPC venceu o prémio Instrumental nos International Portuguese Music Awards (IPMA). Também foi nomeada para o Melhor Álbum de Fado nos Prémios Play – Música Portuguesa, com o álbum Sem Palavras.
