No próximo dia 1 de julho, o Camões – Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua e o Instituto Português do Oriente organizam a palestra “Fortuna, Caso, Tempo e Sorte – Vida de Luís Vaz de Camões”. Este evento faz parte do Plano Anual de Atividades 2025 da Embaixada de Portugal em Pequim, inserindo-se nas celebrações dos 500 anos do nascimento de Luís de Camões.
卡蒙斯学院和东方葡萄牙学会将于7月1日联合举办《命运、机遇、时代与运气——卡蒙斯传》讲座。本次活动为我馆2025年活动计划和卡蒙斯诞辰五百周年庆典活动的其中之一。
On July 1st, Camões Institute (CICL, I.P.) and the Portuguese Institute of the Orient (IPOR) are organizing the lecture “Fortuna, Caso, Tempo e Sorte - Vida de Luís Vaz de Camões” (direct translation “Fortune, Chance, Time and Luck- The life of Luís Vaz de Camões”). This event is part of the Annual Activities Plan 2025 of the Portuguese Embassy in Beijing and is part of the celebrations of the 500th anniversary of the birth of the poet Luís de Camões.
Nesta iniciativa, que terá lugar na Universidade de Estudos Estrangeiros de Pequim, a Dra. Isabel Rio Novo propõe-nos a redescoberta da figura do grande poeta, revelando factos desconhecidos sobre a sua vida e obra e em estreita relação com a época em que viveu. Uma viagem no tempo em que se restitui a história deste vulto da língua portuguesa.
本次的讲座将在北京外国语大学举办的，而届时伊莎贝尔·里约·诺沃讲师将带我们重新发现这伟大诗人的形象，并揭示他生活、作品与他时代关联的未知事实。在此穿越时空的旅程里，讲师将恢复这位葡萄牙语文学人物的历史。
In this initiative that will take place at Beijing Foreign Studies University, Dr. Isabel Rio Novo will propose a rediscovery of the figure of this great poet, revealing unknown facts about his life and his work in close relation to the period in which he lived. A journey through time in which the history of this major figure in the Portuguese language is restored.

A Dra. Isabel Rio Novo nasceu no Porto, onde fez mestrado em História da Cultura Portuguesa – Época Moderna e se doutorou em Literatura Comparada pela Faculdade de Letras do Porto. É docente universitária de História da Arte, Escrita Criativa e outras disciplinas nas áreas da história, da literatura e dos estudos interartes, sendo autora de várias publicações académicas nesses domínios.
伊莎贝尔·里约·诺沃博士出生于波尔图市，也在那所城市获得了“葡萄牙文化历史：现代时期”专业的硕士学位，。此后她就读于波尔图文学学院并获得了比较文学专业博士学位。她是一名艺术历史专业、创意写作专业、历史专业、文学专业和现代艺术专业的教授，也写作了诸多关于前述领域的学术出版物。
Dr. Isabel Rio Novo was born in Oporto, where she obtained a master’s degree in “História da Cultura Portuguesa – Época Moderna” (direct translation “History of Portuguese Culture - Modern Period”) and a doctorate in “Literatura Comparada” (direct translation “Comparative Literature”) from the Faculty of Letters of Oporto. She is a university lecturer in Art History, Creative Writing and other subjects in the areas of history, literature and inter-arts studies, and she is also the author of several academic publications in mentioned fields.
Enquanto ficcionista, é autora, entre outras obras, dos romances Rio do Esquecimento (2016, finalista do Prémio LeYa e semifinalista do Prémio Oceanos), A Febre das Almas Sensíveis (2018, finalista do Prémio LeYa), Rua de Paris em Dia de Chuva (2020, finalista do Prémio Europeu de Literatura e do Prémio de Narrativa do PEN Clube), Madalena (2022, Prémio Literário João Gaspar Simões) e A Matéria das Estrelas (2025, Prémio Literário Cidade de Almada).
