O Embaixador de Portugal em Pequim, Paulo Jorge Nascimento, foi convidado para apresentar o livro “Os Momentos em Lisboa” do ilustrador Zhou Yi, num evento de lançamento que decorreu no passado dia 21 de setembro em sala cheia, numa livraria do prestigioso bairro de Sanlitun, em Pequim.
9月21日，葡萄牙共和国驻华大使保罗·纳西门托应邀介绍插画师周逸的作品《那些在里斯本的瞬间》。本次的新书发布会是在北京著名三里屯区一家座无虚席的书店举行的。
The Portuguese Ambassador to Beijing, Paulo Jorge Nascimento, was invited to present the book “Moments in Lisbon” by illustrator Zhou Yi at a launch event held on September 21 to a packed audience at a bookstore in the prestigious Sanlitun district of Beijing.
Zhou Yi é um artista chinês, natural de Hangzhou, que adotou Lisboa como sua morada há cerca de nove anos quando decidiu estudar design gráfico na Universidade de Lisboa. Hoje trabalha sobretudo como ilustrador e tem vindo a ganhar fama, mantendo quase de 30 mil seguidores na sua página da plataforma social chinesa Xiaohongshu. Já recebeu também vários prémios em Portugal e na China.
周逸是一名出生于杭州的中国艺术家。大约9年前，当他决定赴里斯本大学就读平面设计专业时，里斯本就成了他的家。如今，他主要从事插画工作，他在小红书平台成名，小红书号有将近三万粉丝。他在葡萄牙和中国获得了诸多奖项。
Zhou Yi is a Chinese artist, born in Hangzhou, who adopted Lisbon as his home about nine years ago when he decided to study graphic design at the University of Lisbon. Today he works mainly as an illustrator and has been gaining fame, maintaining almost 30,000 followers on his page on the Chinese social platform Xiaohongshu. He has also received several awards in Portugal and China.
Nos últimos anos, o artista tem-se dedicado a caminhar pelos vários cantos da capital portuguesa com o seu diário gráfico na mão para retratar “momentos” do quotidiano lisboeta. O seu livro “Os Momentos em Lisboa” é uma compilação de vários desenhos transformados num guia de viagem artístico sobre a cidade, uma obra que parece ser inédita na China. O livro é publicado em chinês, podendo também, em breve, vir a ter uma versão inglesa.
这几年来，这位艺术家特意携着绘画本漫步在葡萄牙首都的各个角落记录里斯本市日常生活的瞬间。他的作品《那些在里斯本的瞬间》所收集的绘画成为了该城市的艺术旅游指南。此绘本在中国似乎是前所未有的，目前仅以中文出版，但可能很快会出版英文版。
In recent years, the artist has devoted himself to walking around the various corners of the Portuguese capital with his graphic diary in hand to portray “moments” of everyday life in Lisbon. His book “Moments in Lisbon” is a compilation of various drawings transformed into an artistic travel guide about the city, a work that seems to be unprecedented in China. The book is published in Chinese and may soon be available in English.
Na sua breve intervenção, o Embaixador teve oportunidade não só de agradecer ao artista pelo seu trabalho - que serve de excelente exemplo de criação de pontes culturais entre Portugal e a China - como também de destacar o seu estilo artístico distintivo e caloroso, que capta muito bem a cidade de Lisboa. Este livro é um verdadeiro convite para visitar Portugal.

In his brief intervention, the Ambassador had the opportunity not only to thank the artist for his work - which serves as an excellent example of creating cultural bridges between Portugal and China - but also to highlight his distinctive and warm artistic style, that captures the city of Lisbon very well. This book is a real invitation to visit Portugal.
