《希腊人：从阿伽门农到亚历山大》展览在上海开幕 Exhibition——"THE GREEKS" is in Shanghai

中国公众对希腊文化表现出浓厚兴趣。作为中希文化交流的又一里程碑，《希腊人：从阿伽门农到亚历山大》展览开幕式于7月8日周二在上海世博会博物馆隆重举办。

The Chinese public shows enormous interest in Greek culture. As another milestone of the Greek-Chinese cultural exchanges, the opening ceremony of the exhibition "The Greeks: from Agamemnon to Alexander the Great" was held on Tuesday 08 July, at the World Expo Museum in Shanghai.

本次展览由希腊文化部主办，希腊驻华大使馆协办，汇集 14 家希腊博物馆及收藏机构的 270 余件古希腊雕塑、绘画和珠宝文物，展期自2025年 7 月 9 日持续至2025年 10 月 26 日。

The exhibition is co-organised by the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and the World Expo Museum in Shanghai with the support of the Greek Embassy in Beijing. The exhibition displays two hundred and seventy (270) exhibits, artifacts of ancient Greek sculpture, painting and jewelry, from 14 Greek museums and collections, and will run from July 09 to October 26, 2025.

希腊驻华大使Evgenios Kalpyris博士、希腊驻上海总领事Georgios Partheniou先生、总领事馆公共外交办公室负责人出席了开幕式。中方代表中，世博会博物馆馆长刘文涛女士、上海市文化和旅游局副局长金雷先生等嘉宾致简短欢迎辞。

The exhibition was attended by the Ambassador of Greece to China, Dr. Evgenios Kalpyris, the Consul General of Greece in Shanghai, Mr. Georgios Partheniou and the Head of the Public Diplomacy Office of the Consulate General.  Regarding the Chinese side, Mrs. Liu Wentao, Director of the Museum, and Mr. Jin Lei, the Director of the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, gave a brief welcome greeting. 

大使在致辞中强调，本次展览让中国公众得以跨越时空领略希腊文化的魅力，并结合展品的历史背景，回顾了相关历史人物的事迹。

The Ambassador in his speech stressed that the exhibition enables the Chinese public to comprehend Greek culture over time and delivered a historical review of the figures that make up the historical context of the cultural exhibits.

希腊驻华大使Kalpyris博士特别指出：“这场名为《希腊人》的非凡展览汇集了希腊14家顶级博物馆的数百件珍贵文物，已在全球巡展多年。诸多世界名城都曾为《希腊人》的魅力所倾倒。继长沙、南京和北京之后，《希腊人》展览将驻足上海，开启为期四个月的精彩呈现。我深信，这场展览将让观众深刻理解：希腊文明不仅是西方文明的摇篮，更是一个在亚洲延续千年、影响深远的伟大文明。它当之无愧地跻身于我们称之为‘全球性文明’的极少数文明之列。”

In particular, the Ambassador of Greece to China, Dr. Kalpyris stated: "The remarkable exhibition ‘The Greeks’ with hundreds of exquisite exhibits of origin of 14 leading Greek museums has been traveling the world for many years now. Some of the greatest cities have already fallen under ‘The Greeks’ spell. The ‘Greeks’ continue their march after Changsha, Nanjing and Beijing, to Shanghai for the next four months. I am confident that this exhibition will offer the visitors the opportunity to gain a better understanding of why the Greek civilization is not only the cradle of the Western civilization, but also a civilization with a century-old presence and a strong footprint in Asia as well.  It belongs to the very limited number of what we call the global civilizations."

该展览此前已在湖南博物院（2023 年 12 月至 2024 年 5 月）、南京博物院（2024 年 6 月至 11 月）及北京首都博物馆（2024 年 12 月至 2025 年 5 月）巡展。

The exhibition was previously hosted at the Hunan Museum (from December 2023 to May 2024), the Nanjing Museum (from June to November 2024), and the Capital Museum in Beijing (from December 2024 to May 2025) and had a great impact on the Chinese audience.
