Yesterday on August 19, the Danish Chamber of Commerce in China (DCCC), together with SwedCham and FinnCham, successfully hosted a thought-provoking event on the future of global supply chains.
We were honored to welcome Jens Martin Alsbirk, the new Consul General of Denmark in Shanghai, who joined us for the occasion. He introduced himself to the audience and expressed his strong interest in working closely with DCCC in the future — a promising start to a deeper collaboration between DCCC and the Royal Danish Consulate General in Shanghai.
昨日（8月19日），中国丹麦商会（DCCC）联合瑞典商会（SwedCham）和芬兰商会（FinnCham）成功举办了一场关于全球供应链未来的深度探讨活动。
我们非常荣幸地邀请到丹麦王国驻上海新任总领事 Jens Martin Alsbirk出席本次活动，他向现场嘉宾作了自我介绍，并表达了未来与DCCC紧密合作的美好意愿——为丹麦王国驻上海总领事馆与DCCC之间更深入的合作奠定了良好的开端。
The event began with an insightful keynote speech by Silvia Ding, Managing Director of Maersk Greater China, titled “Building Resilient Supply Chains with Flexibilities.”
She highlighted how China’s economy has significantly contributed to global growth over the past two decades, and how it will continue to play a central role in the next decade. Silvia emphasized that Chinese companies are evolving within the globalization process especially within supply chains and that growing with them requires new approaches — faster decision-making, agile technology integration, and flexibility.
活动由马士基大中华区总经理Silvia Ding主讲的题为“以灵活性构建韧性供应链”的主题演讲拉开序幕，她指出，过去二十年中国经济对全球增长作出了重要贡献，并将在未来十年在世界舞台继续发挥核心作用。
Silvia强调，中国企业在全球化进程中不断发展，尤其在供应链领域，与中国的企业合作需要新的方法——更快的决策、敏捷的技术整合以及灵活应变的能力。

- Silvia Ding, Managing Director of Maersk Greater China (Logistics Provider)
Moderated by Kevin Liang, GM Sales at Leman China LTD, the panel addressed pressing issues such as:
1. The most recent supply chain challenges and how they have been handled.
2. The most important factors for building long-term sustainable supply chains.
3. Their best advice — in one sentence — for businesses navigating today’s turbulent world.
