Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Mr. K P Sharma Oli observed the commemorative events to mark the 80th anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War at Tian'anmen Square in Beijing today. The event was attended by 26 foreign heads of state and government, high-level representatives of different countries, the heads of international and regional organization and the former statesmen.
In the afternoon, the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister attended the welcome luncheon reception and Gala performance hosted by President of the People's Republic of China H.E. Mr. Xi Jinping at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Mr. K P Sharma Oli left for Kathmandu this evening upon completion of his 5-day visit to the People's Republic of China. He was bid farewell by H.E. Mr. Chen Song, Ambassador of China to Nepal, Chinese officials, and senior diplomats of the Embassy of Nepal, Beijing.
