In his message, President Zardari described the anniversary as a reflection of China’s remarkable journey of progress, unity, and innovation. He lauded President Xi Jinping’s vision of people-centric governance, shared prosperity, and global cooperation, calling it an inspiration for the world. The president emphasised that Pakistan-China ties are “time-tested and multifaceted,”

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, hailed the “enduring and unbreakable” bond between the two countries, which he said continues to grow stronger with time. He praised China’s progress under President Xi’s leadership, describing it as a model of stability and prosperity for the world. Referring to his recent visit, the prime minister called it “highly fruitful,” noting milestones such as investment agreements worth billions of dollars signed during the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit and the Pakistan-China B2B conference. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), which has now entered its second phase, underscoring its role as the cornerstone of the bilateral economic partnership.
