Philippine Consul General Myca Magnolia M. Fischer took advantage of her visit to Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, to meet with members of the Filipino community (FILCOM) in that city. In their tête-à-tête, CG Fischer shared information on the projects and initiatives of the Consulate to promote the interest of OFWs in the Yangtze River Delta region, while the Filcom members informed her of their situation living and working in the vibrant city of Suzhou. CG Fischer was in Suzhou to attend the Roundtable Forum on “Exploring Green Energy to Enable Green Living, Innovating for Sustainable Development,” upon the invitation of the UN Global Compact Liaison Office in China and State Grid.
