Indian Maritime Week 2025, inaugurated on 27th October 2025 in Mumbai by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah, marks a major step in India’s journey to becoming a global maritime hub.

Organized by the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, the week-long event brings together more than 100,000 delegates, 500 exhibitors, and industry leaders from over 85 countries. The platform showcases India’s vision for sustainable maritime growth through innovation, green shipping, digital sea corridors, and modernized port infrastructure. With investment commitments exceeding ₹55,000 crore and key international partnerships — including a landmark MoU with the Netherlands on a Green Digital Sea Corridor — Indian Maritime Week 2025 underscores India’s commitment to driving global trade, connectivity, and blue-economy excellence.
