In the processing machinery and equipment exhibition area of the ongoing 138th Canton Fair, the booth of Jinan Senfeng Laser Technology has become a highlight.
Accompanied by a soft hum, the probe of the laser cutting machine lit up with an orange-red glow, and beams of high-energy laser fell with pinpoint precision, attracting many overseas buyers to stop and watch.
After seeing off a buyer who had placed an order for 10 machine tools in one go, Liu Wei, head of Senfeng Laser’s welding business division, said: “Our goal at the Canton Fair is very clear: to secure orders.”
Faced with the China-US tariff issue, Senfeng Laser did not wait. While consolidating the established markets with cost-effective products, they continue to capture the markets of developed economies in Europe and the United States.
“The equipment we brought is not just for show — they are hot-selling products that meet the market demands of Asia, Africa, and Latin America,” Liu said.
This precise positioning has enabled Senfeng Laser to achieve fruitful results at the Canton Fair. They have been securing transaction orders worth at least 30 million yuan($4.21 million) in each exhibition session.
Notably, half of Senfeng Laser’s clients are repeat customers. The trust accumulated through over a decade of consecutive participation in the fair has become a cornerstone. The market-oriented strategy has not only helped the company gain steady growth in the complex foreign trade environment but also driven it to continuously meet user needs.
To date, Senfeng Laser has established nine key overseas offices worldwide, covering the US, Germany, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan, Jordan, India, Japan and Vietnam. Today, its products are sold to more than 100 countries and regions.
