Welcome to the magical land of Yunnan! Upon your arrival at the Dali Airport or train station, a dedicated driver will personally greet you and escort you to your hotel.
Free time for rest of the dat today. Unwind and soak up the serene ambiance of Dali, where you can explore Dali Old Town for the local sights and sounds at your own pace.

Dali Sightseeing
Dali Old Town, Xizhou Ancient Town, Zhoucheng Villge, Erhai Lakeshore
Our guide will lead you to explore Dali Ancient Town in the morning. After driving 20km to Xizhou, you will join the Three-course Tea Ceremony, which is most popular among Bai people and serves distinguished guests. Continue to go to Zhoucheng, and various traditional customs are well preserved here. Visit a local Tie Dye Workshop there.
After, take the eco-friendly car to drive around and enjoy Erhai Lake.

Dali to Shangri-la
Pudacuo National Park, Dukezong Ancient Town
After breakfast, drive to Pudacuo Park, famous for its well-preserved landscape. There are beautiful lakes, primitive forests, vast meadows, streams, and more. Later, arrive at Shangrila, and visit Dukuzong Ancient Town and Guishan Park with the world's most enormous prayer wheel. Climb up to the temple on the top, and enjoy the panoramic view of the city. At night, you can join locals dancing in the square.

Shangri-la - Tiger Leaping Gorge
Songzanlin Monastery, Tiger Leaping Gorge
In the morning, drive tovisit the Songzanlin Monastery to see the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan, the castle like complex is also known as Little Potala Palace, experience the mystery and traditions of Tibetan Buddhism.
Later, drive to Tiger Leaping Gorge, the deepest gorge in the world, visit Upper Gorge, enjoy the 2.6-kilometer along Jinsha River and the stone trail. After visiting, drive to Tina’s guesthouse to stay overnight.
Tiger Leaping Gorge is located between the 5596 meters Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Xueshan) to the south and 5396 meters Haba Snow Mountain (Haba Xueshan) to the north. Legend says that in order to escape from a hunter, a tiger jumped across the river at the narrowest point, hence named Tiger Leaping Gorge and the stone called Tiger Leaping Rock.

Tiger Leaping Gorge - Lijiang
After breakfast, you will start your hiking from Tina's Guesthouse to Halfway Guesthouse (takes around 3 hours). Enjoy views of the towering snow-capped mountains, and embrace the small waterfall through the village and up a winding path.
After that, take the vehicle to Lijiang. Rest of the time is free and easy to explore the Lijiang old town.

Lijiang sightseeing
Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Blue Moon Valley, Shuhe Ancient Town
After breakfast, drive about 30KM to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Scenic Area. Consisting of 13 peaks, among which Shanzidou is the highest with an altitude of 5,600 meters, the mountain stretches a length of 35 kilometers and a width of 20 kilometers. You will firstly reach Ganhaizi Meadow(3100M). Then take the sightseeing bus for a short visiting through the Baishuihe River in Blue Moon Valley, take the chairlift up to Glacier park(about 4500M). ( Since Glacier Park is the most popular part of JDSM and the ticket might in shortage. If it is not availabe, we have to switch to Spruce Meadow .)
After that, you will enjoy the Impression Lijiang Show directed by Zhang Yimou. It is held in Ganhaizi Meadow about 3100M above the sea level.
Stroll through Baisha Old Town, which is an enchanting traditional Naxi style old town. Visit the Baisha Muralabout 600 years old, which is one part of the World Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO 1997.

Lijiang Departure
On this day, it marks the end of your 7-Day Yunnan Tour in Lijiang. Enjoy some time to explore on your own until our local driver picks you up at your hotel and escorts you to the airport / train station in Lijiang at the appointed time.
