Qiao Family Compound: The Qiao Family Compound is an exquisite example of traditional Chinese architecture, located in the outskirts of Taiyuan. It is renowned for its large, well-preserved courtyards and impressive collection of artifacts. The compound was once home to one of the wealthiest families in Shanxi province, showcasing the family’s power and affluence during the Qing Dynasty.
Jinci: Jinci is a famous temple complex located about 25 kilometers south of Taiyuan. It is renowned for its well-preserved ancient architecture and historical significance, housing shrines dedicated to the ancient kings and deities. The surrounding area also offers beautiful natural scenery, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
Taiyuan Ancient County Town: Taiyuan Ancient County Town is a historic district that dates back to the early days of the Tang Dynasty. It is known for its ancient buildings, narrow streets, and local markets that provide a glimpse into the city’s past. It is a place where visitors can experience traditional culture and history in the heart of the modern city.
