On September 19, 2025, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Beijing once again transformed into a haven of late-summer celebration as the Danish Chamber ofCommerce in China (DCCC) hosted its legendary annual Danish Summer Night.
This year was particularly historic: we celebrated 75 years of diplomatic ties between China and Denmark and 25 years of the DCCC uniting the Danish business community in China.
2025 年 9 月 19 日，丹麦王国驻华大使馆再次化身为仲夏庆典的舞台，中国丹麦商会（DCCC）在此隆重举办了我们传奇般的年度盛会——丹麦仲夏夜。
今年的活动格外具有历史意义：我们共同庆祝中丹建交 75 周年，以及中国丹麦商会成立 25 周年。
A Warm Welcome
The evening began at 5:30 PM as guests gathered in the Embassy’s serene courtyard. Bubbles and cocktails flowed freely, creating an atmosphere of festivity and anticipation. Ambassador Michael Starbæk Christensen, together with the DCCC Chair Mathias Boyer, welcomed everyone with heartfelt remarks, officially opening this milestone celebration.

A Feast Inspired by Denmark
Guestswere treated to a sumptuous Danish dinner crafted by the chefs of HYATT REGENCY BEIJING WANGJING hotel. Inspired by Danish culinary traditions, the menu delighted with seasonal flavors and was perfectly paired with Danish-inspired cocktails, beers, and fine wines.
Gold sponsors Arla, Lundbeck, Maersk, Novonesis, and Novo Nordisk took the stage with words that highlighted the significance of sustainability, community and collaboration. After dinner, we raised a final toast—to the memories made, the friendships strengthened, and to another remarkable year of Danish community spirit in China.

由北京望京凯悦酒店大厨精心烹制的丰盛丹麦风味晚宴，让宾客们尽享丹麦美食风情。精致的佳肴搭配丹麦风味鸡尾酒、啤酒与红白美酒，令人回味无穷。
本次活动的金牌赞助商 Arla、Lundbeck、Maersk、Novonesis 和 Novo Nordisk 在进餐后不久登台致辞，每位代表分享了他们所代表的企业对可持续发展、社区和合作精神的知识和经验。晚餐临近结尾时，宾客们举杯共庆：为这一晚的美好记忆、为加深的友谊，也为丹麦社区在中国的又一个精彩年份而举杯共庆。
Music, Elegance, and Celebration
The valued varied talented musicians and artists once again elevated the evening with enchanting performances. As guests arrived, the air was flowing with soothing piano and violist melodies.
Five Chinese musicians performing with traditional Chinese instruments representing “Echoes Between China and Denmark” has captured the audience’s hearts by their mixed Chinese-Western pieces. These traditional Chinese instruments include Erhu (Chinese fiddle) , Dizi (Chinese flute) , Yangqin (Chinese hammer dulcimer) , Pipa (Chinese lute) , and Zheng (Chinese zither) .
音乐与优雅
来自不同组合和机构的音乐家及艺术家们再度为晚会注入了高雅的旋律：宾客陆续进场时，丹麦驻华大使馆的林荫花园里回荡着舒缓的钢琴声及优雅的小提琴声。
晚宴期间，五位民乐艺术家运用传统的中国民乐乐器为嘉宾们呈现出中西结合的、悠扬又扣人心弦的 “中 丹 之 声”曲目。这些传统中国民乐乐器包括：二胡、竹笛、扬琴、琵琶及古筝。
Fun and Game
This year’s Danish Summer Night also featured a lively interactive game that brought guests closer together. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and energy as guests searched for their perfect matches. The fastest teams were rewarded with valued prizes sponsored by our generous in-kind sponsors. By the end of the game, eight teams had emerged victoriously with two teams showing especially fierce competition.
有趣的游戏环节
今年的丹麦仲夏夜还特别设计了一个充满乐趣的互动游戏，让宾客们在欢笑中拉进了彼此的距离。在寻找队友的过程中，现场充满了欢声笑语。最快完成组合的队伍赢得了由我们慷慨的实物赞助商提供的精美奖品。最终，共有八支队伍赢得了当晚的游戏，其中两支队伍的竞争尤为激烈。
Dance Under the Stars
As dinner concluded, the cocktail bar opened, and the energy shifted. The Paradise band ignited the dance floor with vibrant live music. They freed audience’s spirit into relaxing and enjoyable dancing mood. All music created anatmosphere of hygge and elegance, reminding us of the cultural richness at the heart of Danish traditions.
Under the open sky, laughter and dancing carried the night forward asguests—business leaders, students, and young professionals—mingled, sharedstories, and celebrated community spirit.
星空下的舞步
晚宴过后，鸡尾酒吧台正式开放，活动氛围瞬间切换。Paradise乐队以他们精彩的演奏点燃舞池，现场音乐热力四射。他们以愉快而快节奏的音乐为嘉宾们释放出轻松愉快及伴着舞步的舒适氛围。所有当晚的音乐无一不展现出了丹麦文化的丰富与“惬意”精神。
夜空下，笑声与舞步交织，商界领袖、学生与青年才俊们相互交流，在轻松愉快的氛围中共享社区精神。

As the clock struck 22:30 PM, the much-loved Danish hot dogs were served,continuing the beloved tradition of ending the night on a comforting note.
