At the age of 19, Marcos Ayala won his first award – First Prize at the World Tango Championship in Tokyo.
In 2010, Marcos Ayala founded the Marcos Ayala Tango Company, which became popular and a leader in Argentina and around the world. In 2015, after a grand tour of the US, the New York Critics Association presented him with two Latin ACE Awards. The first was for his professionalism as a dancer, and the other was for the show Tango Lovers, which was named Best Musical of the Year. In 2016, Marcos Ayala's show Tango Buenos Aires was once again recognized as the best! What happens when desire (naive, bright, and deeply human desire) outweighs reason? When every part of us suddenly, wonderfully, and dangerously becomes part of the whole.
