北马其顿商标由北马其顿国家工业产权局（SOIP）负责审查、授予与保护。
北马其顿是《巴黎公约》缔约国，也是马德里国家商标体系成员国，故哥伦比亚商标申请可以通过直接在SOIP提交申请或马德里途径指定北马其顿的方式进行。
北马其顿商标申请时，如标志或标志的部分是用非西里尔字母或阿拉伯以外的数字书写的，申请人可以在申请中说明标志的西里尔字母或阿拉伯语数字音译，即标志或其有意义的部分的翻译，用马其顿语以外的语言书写。
SOIP收到商标申请后会对文件进行形式审查，如符合规定，收到申请即为申请日。如申请材料有缺漏或未缴纳申请官费，则应在期限内补足，否则申请视为放弃。
SOIP接受优先权请求，但需要提供相应的证明文件以及支付额外费用。
形式审查与实质审查均通过，SOIP会公布申请。自公布之日起3个月内，可以提出异议。SOIP会通知申请人异议情况，申请人应在期限内进行答复。
公告期无异议或异议不成立的，SOIP对商标申请进行授权。
北马其顿商标权有效期十年，自申请日起算。到期前12个月可以提交续展申请，到期后9个月为宽展期，此期间提交续展请求需要缴纳额外费用。
North Macedonia trademarks are reviewed, granted, and protected by the State Office of Industrial Property (SOIP) of North Macedonia.
North Macedonia is a signatory to the Paris Convention and a member of the Madrid National Trademark System, so trademark applications in Colombia can be filed directly through SOIP or designated as North Macedonia through the Madrid channel.
When applying for a trademark in North Macedonia, if the symbol or part of the symbol is written in a language other than Cyrillic letters or Arabic numerals, the applicant may indicate in the application that the Cyrillic letters or Arabic numerals of the symbol are transliterated, that is, the translation of the symbol or its meaningful part is written in a language other than Macedonian.
Apply for a Trademark
After receiving a trademark application, SOIP will conduct a formal examination of the documents. If they meet the requirements, the date of receipt of the application will be considered as the filing date.
If there are any missing or unpaid application materials or application fees, they should be supplemented within the deadline, otherwise the application will be deemed abandoned.
SOIP accepts priority requests, but requires corresponding proof documents and payment of additional fees.
Both the formal and substantive examinations have been passed, and SOIP will publish the application. Objections can be raised within 3 months from the date of publication. SOIP will notify the applicant of the objection situation, and the applicant should respond within the deadline.
If there are no objections or objections are not established during the announcement period, SOIP will authorize the trademark application.
The trademark rights in North Macedonia are valid for ten years, starting from the date of application. Renewal applications can be submitted 12 months before the expiration date, and a grace period of 9 months after the expiration date, during which additional fees are required to submit renewal requests.
