Position: Associate

Background:
A bachelor in science or engineering is required, a graduate degree in science or engineering would be preferred.
Qualification:
Candidates who have passed the Chinese patent bar are preferred.
Language proficiency:
Suitable candidates must be proficient in English and are able to work using English as working language.
Responsibilities:
To prosecute Chinese patent applications (mainly PCT national phase applications), draft patent applications in English and Chinese, communicate and coordinate with Chinese local agents, reply to other queries on Chinese Patent Law, etc.
Marks & Clerk Beijing office is recruiting one or more associates in the patent sector. Suitable candidates should have several years of experience in patent prosecution. This position will be working closely with partners in both our Beijing and Hong Kong offices as well as local agents. As such, suitable candidates should also have good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
