Nine days.
That's apparently how long one foreign student lasted at a Chinese university before allegedly getting himself into serious trouble.
Some people need nine days to figure out where the campus cafeteria is. This guy allegedly used the time to investigate whether his university offered... extra-curricular activities.
That's what I call a legend.

A screenshot of a conversation between the foreign student and a Chinese female student has now gone viral online, sparking anger among Chinese netizens. In it, the foreign student allegedly asks whether there are any girls at the university offering sexual services
She reportedly told him there weren't any.
A normal person might have taken the hint and changed the subject.
Oh hell no! Not our legend.
He allegedly followed up by asking whether she was sure, then went on to ask where he could find a girl to spend the night with.
Bro, you're at a university, not checking into a hotel with a questionable concierge service.
don't have to interrupt your lunch to reject someone selling you something you never wanted.
The female student was reportedly uncomfortable with the conversation and complained to the university. Screenshots of the exchange later circulated online.
And then came the big plot twist.
According to online reports, the university decided to expel him, with claims that he was also required to leave China.
That's a spectacularly short academic career. Most students worry about failing their first exam. This guy allegedly speedran the entire university experience and unlocked the Expulsion achievement before the semester even got going.
In September, a female freshman at a university in Chongqing reportedly accused a foreign student of repeatedly sending her suggestive messages during his first three days on campus.
She also alleged that he followed her during military training and tried to find out where she lived in the dormitories.
The university reportedly dealt with the matter.
Look, being new in China can be confusing. Making friends can be difficult. Dating across cultures can be even more complicated.
But repeatedly sending unwanted sexual messages isn't a cultural exchange programme.
Look, I get it. Sometimes, we do enjoy a bit of expat privilege. People are curious about us, strike up conversations, try to be friendly, and sometimes even a little too friendly.
But just because someone smiles at you, glances your way, or tries to be friendly doesn't mean they're inviting you to bed. A friendly smile isn't a sexual invitation, buddy.
And if someone clearly isn't interested, take the hint. We came to China to study or work, not to speedrun our way out of the country.
So, what do you think? Did this horny foreign student deserve such a harsh punishment? Or should the university have handled it differently?
Oh, and one last thing!
