The Affiliated International School of Shenzhen University (AISSU) places great importance on club development, seeing it as a key platform for building students’ all-around skills and helping them compete for spots at top universities worldwide.
The school currently has over 40 student clubs, each with a dedicated faculty advisor, giving AISSUers plenty of chances to gain experience and broaden their horizons through diverse hands-on activities.
医疗与健康社的核心理念，是向同学们科普日常疾病的现象与简单防治手段，并进一步探讨医学背后的哲学知识。
与其他社团相比，它的独特之处在于鲜明的跨学科属性，融合生物学、神经科学、心理学与哲学，从多个维度理解疾病与健康。
The club’s core idea is to teach students about everyday diseases—what they look like and how to prevent and treat them simply—while also digging into the philosophy behind medicine.
What makes it stand out from other clubs is its clear interdisciplinary nature. It blends biology, neuroscience, psychology, and philosophy to understand disease and health from multiple angles.
社团的主要活动形式包括学术探讨、读书会与撰写推文。社员们围绕日常健康议题展开讨论，从常见疾病的成因与预防，到医学伦理与身心关系，在交流中碰撞观点、拓展认知。读书会则精选医学与哲学相关书籍，引导成员在阅读中沉淀思考。同时，社团通过撰写科普推文，将所学转化为通俗易懂的内容，向更多同学传递健康知识。
The club’s main activities include academic discussions, book clubs, and writing social media posts. Members discuss everyday health topics—from what causes common diseases and how to prevent them, to medical ethics and the mind-body connection—bouncing ideas off each other and expanding what they know. The book club picks books on medicine and philosophy, helping members slow down and think deeply while they read. The club also writes easy-to-understand science posts, turning what they’ve learned into simple content that shares health knowledge with more AISSUers.
对社长和社员来说，医疗与健康社不仅是知识分享的平台，更是能力成长的舞台。
日常组织活动、协调分工、主持讨论，让同学们在真实情境中锻炼领导力与沟通能力。
For the club president and members alike, the Medical & Health Club isn’t just a place to share knowledge—it’s a stage for growth. Organizing activities, coordinating tasks, and leading discussions give students real-world practice in leadership and communication.

让健康科普走得更深、更远。 未来，社团将丰富读书会与学术探讨，优化科普推文，引入更多跨学科视角，让健康科普更贴近日常。学校也将持续提供指导与资源支持，助力学生自主探索。
At The Affiliated International School of Shenzhen University (AISSU), every club is a window that opens students’ eyes to a bigger world. The Medical & Health Club, with its interdisciplinary view and human-centered care, helps AISSUers understand the language of the body and feel the warmth of life.
Taking health education deeper and further. Going forward, the club will enrich its book clubs and academic discussions, improve its science posts, and bring in more interdisciplinary angles to make health topics more relevant to everyday life. The school will continue to provide guidance and resources to support students’ independent exploration.
