In Partnership with Shanghai American School
What does a great start to learning look like? At Shanghai American School, it begins with play, curiosity, and the freedom to explore. In our Pre-K classrooms, children are encouraged to follow their interests, share their ideas, and learn alongside one another. Through this, our youngest learners build confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning.
Watch our Early Childhood video to see how purposeful play, our emergent curriculum, and a strong sense of belonging help our youngest Eagles thrive. Then come experience it for yourself at our upcoming Pre-K Open Day on November 21!
Experience Pre-K at SAS for Yourself
There's no better way to discover what makes Early Childhood at SAS special than to see it in action. Our Pre-K Open Day on November 21 welcomes families to explore our learning spaces, meet our educators, and discover what awaits their little learners.
During your visit, you and your child will:
-
Explore and play in our Pre-K classrooms and playgrounds. -
Meet our Early Childhood teachers, school leadership team, and beloved SAS Eagle mascot. -
Discover how we nurture language development, independence, and student wellbeing through purposeful play and exploration. -
Ask questions about our curriculum, admissions process, and life at SAS.
Our Pre-K Open Day is designed for families with children who will be 3 or 4 years old next school year. Your little ones are encouraged to come along with you to explore, play, and get a feel for life as an SAS Eagle!
Space is limited to ensure a personal and interactive experience for every family. Scan the QR code below to reserve your spot early and take the first step toward joining our SAS community.
