1. Environment Assessment

Conduct Environmental impact assessment / Initial environment evaluation / environment screening for Landfill construction in Tripoli based on local regulation. (Time frame: August 2018 - October 2018)

2. Engineering Study

Conduct engineering study in order to design engineered landfill that will include but not limited to land boundary survey with contour in 5-meter interval, geological and hydrogeological investigation and other parameters including but not limited to permeability, rainfall, wind speed, wind direction, sensitive areas are expected to be carried out. (Time frame: June 2018 - August 2018)

3. Feasibility Study

Conduct feasibility study on waste management system (Including but not limited to gender, social aspects, waste characterization, policy, operations, capacity needs of stakeholders, existing waste management system in Tripoli, Libya, way forward to reduce environment health issues.) (Time frame: June 2018 and July 2018)

4. Capacity Building

Conducting capacity building program for stakeholders on best waste management practices. (Time frame: August 2018 and December 2018)

5. Design engineered landfill with necessary amenities

This will include structural, electrical and mechanical drawings with BOQ. (Time frame: September 2018 and November 2018)

[8] One-year experience will score one mark

[9] One hundred thousand USD scores one mark

Note: Evidence needs to be provided as a part of the request for the proposal.

Pass marks will be 70.
