走近调香师的创作人生，重新认识香原料的丰富面貌，是气味上海持续开展主题策展的两个重要方向。我们希望通过作品、原料与创作故事的呈现，让观众在亲身试闻与专业交流中，进一步了解香水背后的知识、历史与文化。
Exploring perfumers’ creative journeys and discovering the many facets of fragrance ingredients are two important directions in Notes Shanghai’s ongoing exhibition programme. By bringing together creations, ingredients and the stories behind them, we aim to deepen visitors’ understanding of the knowledge, history and culture of perfumery through first-hand olfactory experiences and professional exchange.
本届秋季展，「大师们 Masters」第二季《逐光而行 THE PERFUMER OF LIGHT》回望帝斯曼芬美意大师调香师 Alberto Morillas 55余年的创作历程；《重写玫瑰 Rewriting Rose》则延续此前桂花主题展对香原料的关注，以十个章节探索玫瑰在两百余年香水创作中的不同表达。
At this Autumn Edition, The Perfumer of Light, the second instalment of the Masters series, traced more than 55 years of creation by dsm-firmenich Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas. Continuing the exploration of fragrance ingredients begun with the previous osmanthus exhibition, Rewriting Rose examined the many expressions of rose across more than two centuries of perfumery through ten chapters.
从创作者到原料，两场特展为观众提供了理解香水的不同视角，也让关于气味的对话在现场进一步深入。
From creators to ingredients, the two exhibitions offered different perspectives on perfumery and encouraged deeper conversations about fragrance.

「大师们 Masters」第二季聚焦帝斯曼芬美意大师调香师阿尔贝托·莫瑞拉斯 Alberto Morillas，以六个章节回望他55余年的创作历程。展会期间，Alberto Morillas亲临现场，参加特展开幕、导览及大师课，与中国观众分享作品背后的故事。
The second instalment of the Masters series focused on dsm-firmenich Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas, tracing more than 55 years of his creative journey through six chapters. During the exhibition, Morillas attended the opening, guided visits and a masterclass, sharing the stories behind his creations with audiences in China.

当55余年的作品汇聚在同一个空间，回望它们也成为了一次特别的个人体验。Alberto感慨：
Seeing more than 55 years of his work brought together in one place made the retrospective a deeply personal experience. Alberto reflected:
当我环顾四周，看到的远不止香水。我看见了自己在西班牙的童年记忆，看见了给予我灵感的原料，看见了学到的经验与引以为傲的时刻，也看见了曾经合作过的优秀伙伴与品牌。最重要的是，我看见了一段充满创作与光的人生。
When I look around, I see much more than perfumes. I see memories of my childhood in Spain. I see the ingredients that gave me ideas. I see lessons and proud moments. And I see the wonderful people and brands I worked with. Most of all, I see a life filled with creation and light.

通过「大师们 Masters」系列，气味上海希望持续呈现调香师的专业价值，让观众通过具体的作品与创作经历，理解香水作为创作语言的丰富性。
Through the Masters series, Notes Shanghai seeks to highlight perfumers’ expertise and creative contributions, helping audiences appreciate the richness of fragrance as a creative language through their works and experiences.

继气味上海2025秋季展的桂花主题展「何须浅碧深红色，自是花中第一流」之后，本届展会，我们将目光转向玫瑰——香水史上最经典、也不断被重新定义的题材之一。
Following the osmanthus-themed exhibition at Notes Shanghai 2025 Autumn Edition, titled “NEED NOT BRIGHT COLORS TO BE THE BEST,” we turned our attention this season to rose—one of perfumery’s most enduring and continually reinterpreted themes.

本届特别主题展览《重写玫瑰》汇集70余件展品，以十个章节回望两百余年的玫瑰香水创作，呈现玫瑰如何穿越地域、文化与性别，被一代代调香师重新书写。
Rewriting Rose brought together more than 70 exhibits across ten chapters, tracing over two centuries of rose in perfumery and exploring how generations of perfumers have reinterpreted it across regions, cultures and gender conventions.
在作品之外，观众还体验了玫瑰花材、纯露、精油、浸膏、原精与关键气味分子。不同形态的材料与作品相互参照，让熟悉的玫瑰显现出更丰富的气味细节。
Alongside the fragrances, visitors explored rose flowers, hydrosols, essential oils, concretes, absolutes and key aroma molecules. Experiencing these materials alongside the finished creations revealed a richer range of olfactory detail within this familiar flower.

此次，我们还邀请到独立调香师错天青带来特别导览活动。他从十个章节中分别选择具有代表性的作品，带领观众从调香师的角度，观察玫瑰如何被放大、拆解、调暗与重构，并在不同的文化与技术语境中获得新的身份。
Independent perfumer Cuo Tianqing also led a special guided visit. Selecting a representative fragrance from each of the ten chapters, he offered a perfumer’s perspective on how rose can be amplified, deconstructed, darkened and reimagined, taking on new identities in different cultural and technical contexts.
此次导览最令我惊喜的，是现场观众对香水，以及其背后的调香工艺的了解程度与旺盛的好奇心。这种专业而敏锐的交流，远远超出了我的预期，也让这次导览真正成为了一场彼此启发的嗅觉对话。
What surprised me most during this guided visit was how much the audience knew about perfume and the craft behind it, and how eager they were to learn more. The knowledge and perceptiveness they brought to these exchanges went far beyond my expectations, turning the visit into a truly inspiring olfactory dialogue in which we learned from one another.
