A Chinese firm plans to invest $10 million in Pakistan in multiple sectors including electric vehicle assembly, solar equipment, agricultural machinery and cold chain projects. Representatives of the firm held talks with the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and expressed the intention to launch long-term investment projects and explore the local market under relevant policies. The chamber officials said such investment will help develop Pakistan's manufacturing sector and create local jobs, and support the construction of supporting industrial chains. The chamber will help the enterprise connect with local partners and coordinate relevant approval procedures.

The Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ICCI) stated that Pakistan-China economic cooperation should focus more on practical and implementable business models and vigorously advance joint ventures between enterprises of the two countries. The chamber proposed that companies from both sides should strengthen direct communication and focus on cooperation opportunities in manufacturing, information technology, agricultural product processing and other fields. It also suggested simplifying trade procedures between China and Pakistan, lowering the threshold for cross-border cooperation of small and medium-sized enterprises, giving full play to the location and policy advantages brought by the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and continuously expanding the scale of bilateral trade.

REAP secures orders for 60,000 metric tons of Pakistani rice from China
A delegation of the Rice Exporters Association of Pakistan (REAP) held business meetings with Chinese buyers in Guangzhou and Shenzhen and secured export orders covering 60,000 metric tons of Pakistani rice, including basmati and non-basmati varieties. REAP said the Chinese market continues to recognize the aroma and quality of Pakistani basmati rice, and the completion of this batch of orders marks important progress in China-Pakistan agricultural trade. The delegation will continue to build long-term stable supply partnerships with Chinese importers and further expand the market share of Pakistani rice in China under the free trade agreement.
