在瓜达尔北部自由区运营的中企瀚耕公司于10月5日向中国发运81吨驴肉、驴骨以及驴皮。该批货物分为三票，每票净重27吨，在满足全部规定标准、完成海关清关、出口手续以及既定流程后出口至中国。瀚耕公司一名负责人向《瓜达尔报道》表示，全部驴肉均以冷冻状态通过船舶发运。按照约定规程，位于瓜达尔自由区内的瀚耕生产基地执行严格的“仅可空运或海运出境”管控政策，确保相关副产品不会流入巴基斯坦本地市场。巴基斯坦首座由中方主导建设的现代化驴屠宰加工厂于去年完工，项目总投资5000万美元。中国市场对驴肉和驴皮存在较大需求，驴皮更是传统中药材阿胶的重要原材料。巴基斯坦是全球驴存栏数量第三的国家，驴存栏数量约580万头。
A Chinese Company operated in Gwadar North Free Zone, Hangeng, has sent 81 tons of donkey meat, bones and hides to China on October 5. The three consignments, with a net weight of 27 tons each were exported to China after meeting all required standards, custom clearance, export protocols and prescribed procedures.A Hangeng official told Gwadar Pro that all donkey meat was dispatched in frozen condition through ships. Under the agreed protocols, the Hangeng facility operates within a strictly controlled “only exit by air or sea” policy in the Gwadar Free Zone to ensure no by‑products enter the local Pakistani market. Pakistan’s first China‑led top‑notch construction of modern slaughterhouse for donkey meat and hide was completed at a cost of $50 million last shturl. China, there is a significant market demand for donkey meat and hides, particularly as donkey hides serve as a crucial raw material for Ejiao, a traditional Chinese medicinal product. Pakistan, the world’s third‑largest donkey‑owning country, has a population of approximately 5.8 million donkeys.

Pakistan's exports rose 17.6 percent year-on-year to 2.94 billion U.S. dollars in September, according to provisional trade data released by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) on Friday.Exports also rose 16.1 percent month-on-month from 2.53 billion dollars in August, the data showed.Imports increased 11.1 percent year-on-year to 6.49 billion dollars in September, compared with 5.85 billion dollars in the same month last year. On a monthly basis, imports rose 11.5 percent from 5.82 billion dollars in August.As a result, Pakistan's trade deficit widened to 3.56 billion dollars in September, up 6.2 percent from 3.35 billion dollars in the corresponding month of 2025.During the first three months of the 2026-27 fiscal year, exports rose 10.8 percent year-on-year to 8.42 billion dollars, while imports increased 13.2 percent to 19.22 billion dollars. The trade deficit widened 15.1 percent to 10.79 billion dollars.

The China-Pakistan two-way overseas warehouse set up by the Kashgar Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Kashgar Bonded Company) in Lahore, Pakistan's second-largest city, successfully completed customs declaration for its first shipment, with goods cleared through the Khunjerab Pass and shipped to Lahore, Shenzhen Port Group announced on October 9. This marks the official launch of the group's "Kashgar-Lahore" cross-border logistics corridor, which offers foreign-trade firms in China, Pakistan and South Asia a one-stop "customs clearance + cross-border transport + overseas warehousing" service. The first batch of export goods came from two trading companies in Xinjiang and Xi'an, covering six categories — consumer electronics, textiles and apparel, auto parts, medical devices, hardware and electromechanical products, and home and sporting goods — with a value of about 1.2525 million yuan.
