4.Sensortest recommend submitting CTS 7.0_R3 reports to Sensortest before December 26th 2016. After that date must submit with CTS 7.0_R4 reports

Update WebView and Chrome to avoid certificate-related errors on your Android 5.0+ devices
1.Users of Chromium/Chrome M53-based WebView have started encountering an error when attempting to access websites using Symantec-issued SSL certificates because of an internal check against build time. Users on M54-based WebView will also begin to encounter the same problem starting December 27th.
Please test and preload the M55 version of WebView on the factory ROM as soon as possible and recommend that your customers update WebView through Google Play store to avoid encountering errors with websites using Symantec-issued SSL certificates.
2.Remember, on Android 7.0 and above, Chrome provides the system with a WebView implementation; so for 7.0 and later, you should update the Chrome APK. Previous versions of Android should have the WebView APK updated instead.If absolutely necessary, you may downgrade to M52 temporarily until M55 is fully deployed through Google Play.For background, Android WebView requires that all certificates issued by Symantec Corporation after 1 June 2016 comply with the Certificate Transparency (CT) policy. This was announced at https://security.googleblog.com/2015/10/sustaining-digital-certificate-security.html and implemented in WebView M53. See public Chromium bug 664177 for full details.

January 2017 Android Security Bulletin Partner Preview
Please note that the bulletin has been renamed from the December 2016 Partner Security Bulletin to the January 2017 Android Security Bulletin Partner Preview in order to clearly align the name with the matching public security bulletin. Additional information on the change is provided in the bulletin.
build_version_security_patch will be updated to 2017-01-01
The patches provided are for Android 7.0.0, 6.0.1, 6.0, 5.1.X, 5.0.X and 4.4.4
1. Description :
The bulletin patches zip and signature files have been updated (bulletin_2017_01_preview_r3.zip and bulletin_2017_01_preview_r3.zip.sig) to include the patches for Android version 7.1. The patches for all other Android versions are unaffected.
The most severe of these issues is a Critical security vulnerability that could enable remote code execution on an affected device through multiple methods such as email, web browsing, and MMS when processing media files.

[IMPORTANT] Google Duo must
1.MRs or Letter upgrades should NOT replace Hangouts with Duo as this guideline applies to “new” products only.
2.The focus is on the MRs/Letter upgrade for launched device, replacing hang out with duo would remove hang out which might has been used by user so it is not allowe.

Update Low RAM Notice
1.There is no definition for low RAM device on Android N
2.For partner who want to ship 512M device after M approval window is closed [2017/Jan/31], Google can approve to launch some 512M device on M after M approval window closed. For such devices partners need to send the plan to your Google BD before December 15th , and will go through some internal approval process.
