Dear Android Partner,
We are reaching out in acknowledgement of the recent and ongoing Covid wave in China and the impact it is having on residents and businesses. Additionally, we understand that this situation has led to ongoing disruptions to many partners, suppliers and service providers in the Android ecosystem. As a result, the Android 12 GMS approval window for new device models is extended from January 31, 2023 to February 28, 2023. The GMS approval expiration date remains unchanged (December 31, 2023 for handheld devices and December 31, 2024 for handheld Go and tablet devices).
