Over the past 9 months, RB2B's churn用户流失率 dropped from 'holy sh*t we're dying' (15%/mo) to 'still bleeding but breathing' (7.2%/mo).That's a 50% improvement that literally saved our company. Here are the 5 biggest mistakes I made in 2024... and how I fixed them in 2025:
I was delusional about product-market fit
I was optimizing the product for my ego, not customer happiness.
I stopped talking to customers. Now, every Wednesday from 1-4pm I get my ASS handed to me by customers.
We stopped trying to extract - and started trying to deliver - maximum value.
I stopped LARPing as Russell Brunson/Gary Vee
I resisted fixing certain things because I thought they would expose other problems that would ultimately lead to churn, in favor of 更倾向于 bigger things I thought were transformational (like deeper Hubspot and Salesforce integrations).
Turns out the integrations weren’t transformational, and fixing the little things has made people happier. Whooops.
I resisted fixing certain things because I thought they would expose other problems that would ultimately lead to 负面效果(名词),更专注于自以为xxx(好的形容词)的事情in favor of bigger things I thought were transformational(好形容词). Turns out the integrations weren’t transformational,反而是精进功能更让客户满意 and fixing the little things has made people happier. Whooops.
TAKEAWAY
You can judge my churn all you want.
Here’s the reality:
5% churn = $15m ARR w/ 3 FTE’s.
I’m 90 days away from figuring out how to get there.
Stay tuned...
2 I was xxx
Stay Tuned!
