扉艺廊驻地在广州竹丝岗社区已有十个年头了,我们一直都有将艺术带出展览空间,与社区融合的想法。当代艺术家宋冬相信“生活艺术本无界”,认为每个人的家都是一个博物馆,社区便是一所「无界博物馆」,包罗万象的日常之美。
去年双方一拍即合而促成的艺术计划,如今一道别具意义的墙应运而生。「无界的墙」 作为「无界」艺术计划的开端,重新拓宽你对墙的认知。敬请关注!

宋冬
1966年生于中国北京。1989年,宋冬毕业于首都师范大学美术系油画专业。他从九十年代初开始从事行为、录像、装置、摄影、观念绘画和戏剧等多媒介的当代艺术创作,并参与策划当代艺术的展览和活动。其作品用东方智慧探讨生活与艺术的关系,具有国际影响力。宋冬于2001年与艺术家尹秀珍一起创造了合作方式“筷道”,2005年与艺术家洪浩、肖昱、刘建华和冷林一起共同创建了集体创作方式的艺术小组“政纯办(政治纯形式办公室)”。
宋冬曾在纽约现代艺术博物馆(MoMA)、荷兰格罗宁根博物馆和德国杜塞尔多夫美术馆举办个人展览,曾参加“卡塞尔文献展”、“威尼斯双年展”、“圣保罗双年展” 、“光州双年展”、 “伊斯坦布尔双年展”、“利物浦双年展”、 “亚太三年展”、“广州三年展”、“台北双年展” 、“莫斯科双年展” 和“世界影像节”等国际大型艺术展。2006年获得“韩国光州国际当代艺术双年展”大奖。2010年度AAC艺术中国年度艺术家装置新媒体大奖。2011年获美国旧金山市荣誉证书。 2012年首届基辅双年展奖。2012年度中国当代艺术权力榜年度艺术家。2014年中国当代艺术奖(CCAA)杰出贡献奖。 受聘于中央美术学院、北京电影学院、广州美术学院任客座教授。
The artist Song Dong was born in 1966 in Beijing and graduated from the fine arts department of Capital Normal University in 1989. He has been engaged in multi-medium contemporary art creation since early 1990’s ranging from performing, video, installation, photography, conceptual painting to drama, and participated in the curation of various contemporary art related exhibitions and events. Full of oriental wisdom, his work explores the relationship between life and art, and has brought him international significance. Song Dong and his wife Yin Xiuzhen together created a new way of collaboration: THE WAY OF CHOPSTICKS in 2001. He is also the co-founder of an artist collective “Polit-Sheer-Form Office”, which was initiated by Hong Hao, Xiao Yu, Liu Jianhua, Song Dong, and Leng Lin in 2005.
The artist has held his solo exhibitions at The Museum of Modern Art in New York (MoMA), The Groninger Museum in Netherlands and The Kunsthalle Düsseldorf in Germany, and participated in a range of international art exhibitions including The Kassel Documenta, The Venice Biennale, The Sao Paulo Art Biennial, The GwangJu Biennale, The Istanbul Biennial, The Liverpool Biennial, The Asia Pacific Triennial, The Guangzhou Triennial, The Taipei Biennial, The Moscow Biennial and The Global Visions Festival. The artist has received various honors and awards including The Award for Outstanding Contribution of Chinese Contemporary Art Award (CCAA) in 2014, The First Kiev International Biennale Award in 2012, The San Francisco Certificate of Honour in 2011, The Artist of the Year (Video and Installation) of The Artron Art China (AAC) Awards in 2010, The Grand Award of The Gwangju Biennale in Korea in 2006. The artist is currently Visiting Professor at China Central Academy of Fine Arts, Beijing Film Academy and Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts.
