云南，不止是一个名词，

更是永不厌倦的风景~

位于中国西南，

与缅甸、泰国、越南接壤。

昆明是云南的省会，四季如春，

故名“春城”。

在云南，

闲看花开花落、慢观云卷云舒~~

屏边大围山，

坐落于哀牢山脉。

海拔最高2365米，

年平均气温16.5度，

森林覆盖率81.5%。

地处北回归线以南，

被称为“北回归线上的绿色明珠”。

有着“动植物基因库”、“天然氧吧”的美誉，

2001年被批为国家级自然保护区。

Located in the Ailao Mountains, Pingbian county, south of the Tropic of Cancer, the Daweishan mountain was listed as one of the national natural reserve areas in 2001. With the highest altitude of 2,365 meters, the annual average temperature of 16.5 degrees, and forest coverage of 81.5%, it has been reputed as “the Emerald on the Tropic of Cancer", "Biological Gene Bank", and "the Natural Oxygen Bar".

由于特殊的地理位置，

在绵延数十里茫茫林海里，

依次分布着湿润雨林、季节雨林、

山地苔藓常绿阔叶林等，

孕育了我国最完整的，

湿润雨林和热带山地森林生态系统垂直带谱。

The Daweishan mountain nurtured the most amazing humid rainforest and tropical montane forest ecosystems' altitudinal structure in China due to its unique geographical location. The Humid Rainforest, the Seasonal Rainforest, and the Montane Evergreen Broadleaf Forest stretch for miles following a definite pattern of distribution in this area.

在地质上，

因森林未曾遭受到第四纪冰川的直接袭击，

保存了许多古老、珍惜、濒危且特有的动植物。

There are many ancient, endangered, and specific plants and animals left from the Fourth Glacier Age due to its well-preserved geological structure.

大围山国家级自然保护区，

动植物资源丰富、物种繁多，

目前已记录各类植物6080种，

有国家重点保护野生植物74种，

约占云南总数的一半。

动物1341种，

国家重点保护野生动物74种，

其中屏边苏铁、多头桫椤、

中华蜂猴、中华赤面猴堪称屏边四绝。

Daweishan National Nature Reserve has incredibly abundant and diverse animal and plant resources, which houses over 6,080 species of plants, and 74 species of them are important national protected wild plants, accounting for one-half of all national protected wild plants in Yunnan. It also houses over 1,341 species of animals, and 74 species of them are important national protected wild animals. Among them, Pingbian is known in the world with the following four specific creatures: the Pingbian cycad, Alsophila pingbianica, China slender loris, and the Rhesus macaque.

大围山珍稀濒危植物极其丰富，

有众多的中国特有种、云南特有种，

这使得大围山保护区内，

植物特有现象十分明显，

以多种苏铁、蕨类植物、龙脑香科、木兰科为主要代表。

There were many rare and endangered plants and endemic plants in Daweishan mountain, which brought a significant endemic appearance of plants in this area, especially for the Cycad, Pteridophyte, Dipterocarpaceae, and Magnoliaceae.

另外，

单型科、单型属植物比重大，

反映出古老珍稀特征的植物很多。

其中最为引人注目的是苏铁科植物，

它们是地球现存最古老的种子植物，

也是世界最珍贵的一类重点保护孑遗植物，

被称为“植物界的大熊猫”。

Another evidence of the rich sources of endangered plants and endemic plants in Daweishan mountain is the far bigger proportion of monotypic family and genera plants in this area. Among them, the most special one is the Cycadaceae plants. They are one of the oldest spermatophytes in the world and the most precious relic plant under first-class state protection, which were known as “the panda in the plant world”.

大围山植物的多样性，

为野生动物提供了栖居场所和丰富的食物，

造就了大围山野生动物的多样性。

目前，保护区内共记录了1314种野生动物，

包括哺乳类、鸟类、爬行类、

两栖类、淡水鱼类等。

最具有代表性的有：蜂猴、倭蜂猴、

灰孔雀雉、熊猴、熊狸、云豹等。

The plant diversity in the Daweishan area provides excellent shelter and food for wildlife, which is essential for the biodiversity of the Daweishan reserve. Up to now, 1,341 species of animals were found in this area, which includes mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, freshwater fishes, etc. Among them, the most unique animals are the China slender loris, Pygmy loris, Polyplectron Bicalcaratum, Assam Macaque, Arctictis Binturong, Neofelis, etc.

大围山是动植物的天堂，

是古老孑遗动植物的家园，

也是植物学家和摄影家的乐园。

这里有最古朴自然的美，

初秋，走进位于屏边大围山，

感受自然与生命的新力量。

The Daweishan mountain is a paradise for plants and animals, a perfect shelter for relic plants, and a wonderland for botanists and photographers. Let’s explore and discover the beauty of the wild in early autumn at Daweishan Mountian, to feel the pure shock of nature and life.
