安宁温泉又称“碧玉泉”(意为玉泉)，因为泉水呈墨绿色，像玉一样。据传说，它是在1400多年前的东汉时期被发现的。温泉一年四季的平均气温为42摄氏度，且与其他温泉不同的是，它不含硫，而是由碳酸组成。

Anning Hot Springs also called “Biyu Springs” (means jade springs), because the spring water is dark green, like a jade. According to legend, it was discovered in the Eastern Han Dynasty that more than 1400 years ago. Throughout the year, the spring has an average temperature of 42 degrees Celsius. Unlike other hot springs, it is free from sulphur and is instead composed of carbonic acid.

安宁金方日式森林温泉依山而建，7幢森林小屋和37个半山森林温泉浴池如珍珠般洒落在60亩原始森林之中。温泉中含有对人体有疗养功能的碳、钙、镁、钾、磷等数十种矿物质和微量元素，形成对人体有益的重碳酸钙镁泉，同时又地处原始森林之中，浓度达二级的负氧离子，使安宁金方日式森林温泉成为健身养心的极佳之地。

Jinfang Forest Hot Springs is set in the natural hot spring area north of Anning. Jinfang Hot Spring covers an area of more than 60 acres, featuring 37 Japanese-style hot springs located on a forest-covered hill, 7 forest hubs, a standard swimming pool and a big hot spring pool. The hotel is equipped with "Yixianzhuang" restaurant, "Xiangchilou" tea house, health and physical therapy center, parking lot, outdoor rest pavilion and other facilities.

法华寺始建于宋代，原名睡佛寺，以石窟艺术著称，位于安宁市城东五公里洛阳山麓。这里古窟棋布，窟内雕凿石佛多尊，形态各异，栩栩如生，1965年被列为省级重点文物保护单位。

Fahua Temple was built in the Song Dynasty, formerly known as the Sleeping Buddha Temple, and is known for its grotto art. The ancient caves are carved by stone Buddhas. They are different in form and lifelike. They are one of the few cave art in ethnic minority areas in China.

曹溪寺有1370年历史，位于安宁温泉西侧1千米，地处龙山东麓。寺南有珍珠泉，北接“三潮圣水”坐西向东，俯瞰螳螂川，与“天下第一汤”遥遥相望。属国家级重点文物保护单位。

Cao Xi temple, with a history of 1,370 years, is located one kilometer west of Anning Hot Spring and at the eastern foot of Yongshan Mountain. Since it is flanked by graceful mountains on three sides and is also near the Tanglangchuan River, the area is the perfect place for those who love nature.

地处安宁的螳螂川，系金沙江的一条支流，也是滇池水的唯一出口。近年来，因其春有油菜花，秋有向日葵，被冠以"金色螳川"的美誉。

Anning Tanglangchuan is a narrow and east-west valley road, has been crowned as "Golden Tanglangchuan" in recent years for its brilliance golden color view of two season crops (canola and sunflower).
