云南，不止是一个名词，
更是永不厌倦的风景~
云南位于中国西南部，
与缅甸、老挝、越南接壤。
昆明是云南的省会，四季温暖如春，
故称为“春城”。
在云南，
闲看花开花落、慢观云卷云舒~~
中国的秋从北向南，
秋意一路南下，
秋天的生命力，一点点蔓延。
春城里的秋天来得要晚一些，
十一月，正是昆明赏秋的好时节。
Autumn is coming, Kunming’s weather is much clearer and the leaves start turning into vibrant hues. During autumn, the temperatures are milder, without having to worry about the extremities of summer or winter. November is a perfect time in which you can spend endless hours enjoying the outdoors and visiting a great number of tourist destinations in Kunming.
要问昆明人心中的赏秋最佳地，
大观公园一定榜上有名。
大观楼是大观公园的标志建筑，
始建于康熙二十九年（1690），
现存建筑为同治三年(1864）改建，
楼濒临滇池，
可揽湖光山色之胜，
被誉为“省内第一胜”。
In 1690, the governor of Yunnan carried out a large-scale construction of a two-story pavilion. Ponds were dug, embankments were constructed, and trees and flowers were planted. With a good view of the waters and hills in the distance, and the sailing boats and trees in the mist, the pavilion was titled Daguan ("Grand View") pavilion. The Daguan park we visit today was renovated in 1864, which is a perfect destination to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Autumn for locals.
楼前悬挂由清乾隆年间名士孙髯翁撰文，
陆树堂书丹的180字长联，
把滇池风光和云南数千年历史，
生动地展示在世人面前。
长联一出即惊动四方，
被誉为“天下第一长联”
大观楼因此长联驰名中外。
The most famous poem here is a 180-character verse, carved into the gateposts by the Qing dynasty scholar Sun Ran, reputed to be the longest set of rhyming couplets in China. Its upper scroll depicts the beautiful scenery of Kunming, while the lower scroll contains the author's comments on some important historical events in Yunnan, which has enjoyed a high reputation around the world.
十一月的大观楼，
在大自然的笔触之下，秋色已浓，
大观公园的秋有四绝。
秋菊盎然、湖畔海鸥，
秋风落叶、湖光山色。
In November, Daguan Park gets dressed in its most enthralling colors from red to golden, orange, and scarlet. The mums bloom along the lake also presents a strong hue. The black-headed gull hovering over the park. Seen from above, it seems like the color of autumn is poured into the water, making Daguan Park a fairyland.
菊，
花中四君子之一
也是古代诗句中的常客。
我们耳熟能详的就有，
陶渊明的“采菊东篱下，悠然见南山。”
孟浩然的“待到重阳日,还来就菊花。”
菊花展是大观公园秋季最重要的活动之一，
重阳至今菊花展还在继续。
The chrysanthemum exhibition is one of the most important autumn activities in Daguan Park. The chrysanthemum, together with the plum blossom, orchid, and bamboo have been regarded as the four symbols of noble characters by Chinese scholars since ancient times. Chrysanthemum, in particular, has many meanings. A renowned poet in history, Tao Yuanming wrote a poem about how he tried to live as a hermit: “I pluck chrysanthemums under the eastern hedge, and gaze after towards the southern mountains.”, as well as the poet Meng Haoran once wrote: “We are looking forward to the autumn festival when I'll return to see the chrysanthemums bloom.”
“落霞与孤鹜齐飞，
秋水共长天一色”
秋是候鸟南飞的季节。
昆明是很多候鸟迁徙的目的地，
其中数量最多要数红嘴鸥。
经过几个月的长途跋涉，
红嘴鸥也如约而至。
让这寂静秋景增添灵动。
Sunset glowing clouds and lone goose together fly; together with the Autumn water and the skies on high. Autumn is the season of bird migration, and Kunming is a crucial destination for black-headed gulls. The gulls usually perch at the Dianchi Lake from November to March, which adds another dimension to the colors in this beautiful season.
秋，
也是色彩斑斓的季节。
大观公园内滇朴金黄一片，
与红水杉相映成趣。
金灿灿的银杏林随风摇曳，
暖黄的色调在已有凉意的秋天，
有一种温暖的氛围。
银杏叶纷纷而下，
化作一场绚烂的雨，
这是大观公园的第三种绝色。
The pedalos on the charming, landscaped boating lake, the sights, and smells of the walled gardens. Daguan Park is superb, with plenty of bright and harmonious colors. The park is dressed in dawn redwood and golden ginkgo trees in autumn. With countless leaves falling like rain, Daguan park has presented its variety of natural beauty.
大观公园地处滇池之滨，
看银杏的同时可赏滇池风光。
当辽阔的秋水长天，
被落日余晖抹上一层霞光，
烟波浩渺，秋风清明。
可以感受到
“千秋怀抱三杯酒；万里云山一水楼”。
Masterly arranged, Kunming Daguan Park adjoins the Dianchi Lake, which is a vast and amazing plateau lake formed in the Tertiary period. In late autumn, Daguan park is flanked by trees with autumn foliage. Walking along the road, you can enjoy the spectacular view of limpid waters sharing the autumn color with the vast sky.
