云南，不止是一个名词，
更是永不厌倦的风景~
云南位于中国西南部，
与缅甸、老挝、越南接壤。
昆明是云南的省会，四季温暖如春，
故称为“春城”。
在云南，
闲看花开花落、慢观云卷云舒~~
昆明西山，
坐落于滇池西岸，
最早在唐代的《蛮书》中便出现了，
当时被称为碧鸡山。
因西山森岭茂密，景致极佳，
古时便有“滇中第一佳境”的美誉。
The Xishan Mountain in Kunming, located on the west bank of the Dianchi Lake, first appeared in the Tang Dynasty's "Book of the Southern Barbarians", and was then known as the "Biji Mountain". Due to the dense forests and excellent scenery of Xishan, it has been known as the "number one scenic spot in central Yunnan" since ancient times.
远眺西山群峰，
似一位仰卧在滇池畔的少女。
称为“睡美人山”。
因其在昆明城西，
当地人称之为西山。
Looked from afar, the undulating peaks resemble a supine beauty, hence the name "Sleeping Beauty Mountain". Because it is located west of Kunming city, locals call it Xishan.
沿栈道而上，
将到达西山腹地的华亭寺。
华亭寺是云南省规模较大的佛寺之一，
迄今为止已有九百余年的历史，
现存的寺院是在1932年由虚云大和尚主持重建，
故也被称为“云栖禅寺”
寺内的梅花、玉兰都可称为一绝。
The sculpture of Buddha and five hundred statues of Arhat here are quite unique, so are the historic couplets.In addition, there are various famous flowers and precious botanies such as Arhat pine. The temple has been experienced destruction several times. The existing one was repaired by the monk Xuyun in 1923 and thus also called “Yunxi Buddhist Temple”.
Taihua Temple is famous for its flowers and trees. Various flowers blooms there, among which the most famous are camellia and the yulan flower.
正如其联云：
一水抱城西，烟霭有无，柱杖僧归苍茫外；
群峰朝阁下，雨晴浓淡，倚栏人在画图中。
告别华亭寺
沿着太华古道拾级而上，
曲径通幽，峰峦起伏，
峰回路转便到了太华寺。
Leaving Huating Temple, ascend along the ancient Taihua Trail,
The winding path leads to a secluded and undulating landscape,
As the peaks and turns unfold, you will soon arrive at Taihua Temple.
太华寺，
位于西山最高峰太华山的山腰，
故此得名。
始建于元代，
由天王殿、大雄宝殿、缥缈楼、
一碧万顷阁、水榭长廊及南北厢房组成。
寺院虽然经数次大修，
但大雄宝殿还保留着元代风格。
殿前立着徐霞客《游太华山记》的石碑，
里面记载了其游览西山所见的
梵刹古寺湖光山色。
Taihua Temple is situated at the halfway up the Taihua Peak.First built in Yuan Dynasty , it is composed of Hall of Heavenly Kings, Mahavira hall, Misty Building, Waterside Pavilion Corridor and the chambers in north and south. Although the temple has undergone several major renovations, the Hall of Great Heroes still retains its Yuan Dynasty style. In front of the hall stands a stone tablet inscribed with Xu Xiake's "Travels to Taihua Mountain," which records the Buddhist temples, lakes, and mountain scenery he saw during his visit to Xishan.
我们看到的龙门景区，
是古建筑群及龙门石窟的统称，
也是西山游览的核心部分。
北起三清阁，南至达天阁，
拥有从元代开始至清代，
九层十二阁的道教建筑群；
和云南最大、最精美的道教石窟，
雄居昆明西山众多的名胜之首。
The Longmen Scenic Area that we see is a collective term for ancient buildings and Longmen Grottoes, and it is also the core part of the Xishan tour. It spans from Sanqing Pavilion in the north to Datai Pavilion in the south, comprising a Taoist building complex with eleven pavilions and nine levels that dates back to the Yuan to Qing dynasties. It is home to Yunnan's largest and most exquisite Taoist grottoes, which are among the many famous attractions in Xishan, Kunming.
西山胜境的精华，
便是龙门石窟，
包含石室、石道、石雕，
摩崖石刻，书法作品等等。
龙门石窟地势险峻，
上接云天，下临绝壁，
被称为西山之绝。
The essence of the Xishan scenic area is the Longmen Grottoes, which include stone chambers, pathways, carvings, calligraphic works, and more. The Longmen Grottoes are located in a precarious terrain, connected to the sky above and overlooking cliffs below, earning it the name "the wonder of Xishan".
龙门石窟历史悠久。
清乾隆年间，
道士吴来清开始穿石凿壁，
开凤凰岩、慈云洞天险；
后清咸丰三年，
由杨际泰完成达天阁石窟和龙门牌坊，
也就是“鱼跃龙门”所指的地方。
经过72年历代匠人的努力，
龙门石窟才得已建成。
The Longmen Grottoes have a long history. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, Taoist priest Wu Laiqing began to carve the rock and open up the Fenghuang Cave and Ciyun Cave. Later, in the third year of the Xianfeng period of the Qing Dynasty, Yang Jitai completed the Datian Pavilion Grotto and Longmen Archway, which is the location referred to as "fish leaping over the dragon gate". It took the efforts of generations of craftsmen over 72 years to complete the Longmen Grottoes.
西山胜景以
“奇、绝、险、幽”为特色，
现在已经是一张昆明的城市名片。
有“一登龙门，身价百倍”的说法，
是昆明行的必游之地。
The scenic beauty of Xishan Mountain is characterized by its uniqueness, magnificence, danger, and seclusion. It has become a signature attraction of Kunming. It is said that "one visit to Longmen is worth a hundred times the cost", and it is a must-visit attraction in Kunming.
