1938年，
云南禄丰挖掘出了中国第一具完整的恐龙骨架，
也打开了探索禄丰恐龙群的大门。
随着挖掘深入，
出现的谜团也越来越多！

Yunnan Lufeng excavated the first complete dinosaur skeleton, which provides a way for us to research the Lufeng dinosaurian fauna.

位于滇东高原西北部，
长江上游金沙江畔，
有一个古老且神奇的地方—— 禄丰。
Located in the northwest of the Eastern Yunnan Plateau,
situated by the Jinsha River, one of the upper streams of the Yangtze River,
There is an ancient and marvelous county - Lufeng.

在这里发现了，
1亿9千万年前的禄丰恐龙化石。
由于相对稳定的地质环境，
让古老生命的遗存，得以完好保留。
至今，在楚雄禄丰的红土层中，
还清晰地透露着，
它们曾经存在的气息。
因此这里也被称为“世界恐龙之乡”
Here we found,
Lufengosaurus fossils from 180 million years ago.
Due to the stable geological environment,
these fossils were well-preserved.
So far, in the red soil layer of Lufeng, Chuxiong,
still retains some complete fossils which
proves that the Lufengosaurus was ever here.
That's why Lufeng is recognized as the "Dinosaur Capital of the World."

禄丰发现的恐龙化石群，
它们体长大多在6-10米，
被称为基干蜥脚型类恐龙。
集中展示了，草食性恐龙、肉食性恐龙、
脊椎动物化石和无脊椎动物化石共埋一地的稀世奇观。最具代表性的有禄丰龙、金山龙、云南龙、彝州龙等10余种。
The dinosaur fossils found in Lufeng, are mainly between six and ten meters long, which are often described as basal sauropodomorph dinosaurs.
Fossils displayed here，
including herbivores dinosaurs, carnivores dinosaurs,
vertebrates and invertebrates.
The most representative are Lufengosaurus, Jingshanosaurus，
Yunnanosaurus, and Yizhousaurus, more than 10 species.
中国第一具完整的恐龙骨架

杨钟健先生在云南楚雄禄丰发现了第一具完整恐龙化石，并将其命名为“许氏禄丰龙”，还是中国人自己发掘、研究、装架、展出的第一具完整恐龙骨架。杨钟健先生也被誉为“中国恐龙之父”。
Mr. Yang Zhongjian discovered the first dinosaur fossil in Lufeng, Chuxiong, Yunnan, and named it "Lufengosaurus", which is the first dinosaur skeleton that was excavated, researched, mounted, and exhibited by Chinese people. He has been called the "Father of Chinese Vertebrate Paleontology".

在1955年杨钟健先生的学生董枝明和他的团队，在禄丰再次发现了大量的恐龙遗址，也就是现今的“世界恐龙谷”，发现了来自侏罗纪中期的“川街龙”，这一发现对恐龙演化的研究有着非常重要的意义。
In 1955, Dong Zhiming, one of Yang's students, and his team rediscovered a large number of dinosaur fossils in Lufeng, which is now known as "World Dinosaur Valley". The discovery of "Chuanjiesaurus" - a genus of sauropod dinosaurs from the middle Jurassic Period, makes a great contribution to the study of dinosaur evolution.

在1958年，中华人民共和国邮政总局发行了一套三枚古生物纪念邮票。其中一枚是许氏禄丰龙的骨架和复原图，这枚邮票是全世界发行的第一枚恐龙邮票。
The State Post Bureau of the People's Republic of China issued a set of three paleontological commemorative stamps in 1985. One of them is the skeleton and restoration image of the Lufengsaurus. This stamp is the first dinosaur stamp issued in the world.

禄丰是迄今世界上出土恐龙化石最丰富、最完整、最古老、最原始的地区之一，是中国恐龙的原乡；2004年禄丰被公布为第三批国家地质公园。
Lufeng is one of the places that boast the most abundant, complete, oldest, and most primitive dinosaur fossils in the world. Lufeng was listed in the third batch of the National Geopark in 2004.

禄丰世界恐龙谷位于楚雄州禄丰县城以南23公里处恐龙山镇阿纳村恐龙山，地处昆楚高速公路旁，距昆明市约77公里。这里有着中国第一个恐龙国家地质公园和目前国内规模最大的恐龙遗址馆。
Lufeng World Dinosaur Valley Scenic Area is located at the Dinosaur Hill of A'na Village, Dinosaur Hill Town, 23 kilometers south of Lufeng County, Chuxiong Prefecture, which is located beside Kunming-Chuxiong Highway, 68 kilometers away from Chuxiong City. This is the first Dinosaur National Geopark and the largest Dinosaur Museum in China.

世界恐龙谷是一个集遗址保护、观光休闲、科普科考等为一体的恐龙文化旅游主题公园。公园分为“恐龙遗址科考观光区”“侏罗纪世界旅游区”两大区域。
The Lufeng World Dinosaur Valley is a dinosaur culture tourism theme park that integrates fossil site protection, sightseeing, and scientific research. The park is divided into two areas: the "dinosaur fossils scientific research and tourism area" and the "Jurassic World tourism area".

其中禄丰恐龙谷遗址馆是国内规模最大的恐龙遗址馆，馆内完整保留着1.6亿年前的中侏罗纪晚期的地质剖面，现已挖掘了约380平方米，仍有上百具骨架还未挖掘研究。另外，这里的恐龙骨骼化石标本装架展示数量是世界第一，达六十多具。
Lufeng Dinosaur Museum is the largest dinosaur museum in China, which completely retains the geological section of the late Middle Jurassic Period about 160 million years ago. It has been excavated about 380 square meters, and there are still hundreds of skeletons that have not been excavated and studied yet. In addition, Lufeng World Dinosaur Vally is the place that displayed the most number of dinosaur skeleton specimens in the world, which was about 60 specimens.
