云南，不止是一个名词，
更是永不厌倦的风景~
云南位于中国西南部，
与缅甸、老挝、越南接壤。
昆明是云南的省会，四季温暖如春，
故称为“春城”。
在云南，

地处我国西南边陲，
地理位置特殊，
与邻国缅甸三面接壤，
是南方丝绸之路的隘口。
德宏的名字取自傣语，
意为“怒江下游的地方”。
Dehong, situated on the southwest border of China, is the most western town in Yunnan province. It is adjacent to Myanmar on three sides and is the important gateway of the Southern Silk Road. The name Dehong comes from the Dai language, meaning "the place near the downstream of the Nujiang River”.
芒市，
是云南德宏傣族景颇族自治州首府，
芒市在傣语里也称“勐焕”，
传说佛祖在天亮时刚好到此，
便给这个地方取名“勐焕”
意为“黎明之城”。
Mangshi City is a county-level city located in the western part of Yunnan province, in southwestern China. It is the capital of Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture. In the Dai language, Mangshi is also known as "Menghuan". According to legend, the Buddha arrived at this place at dawn, hence its name "Menghuan", which means "the City of Dawn".
“芒市”一名
由“茫施”演变而来。
是傣族、景颇族、
阿昌族、傈傈族、德昂族，
五个少数民族的世居之地。
一个多民族的城市，
也造就了城市文化的多样性，
在这里可以体验到，
泼水节、目瑙纵歌等
少数民族节日。
Mangshi City is the historic land of five ethnic groups, namely the Dai, Jingpo, Achang, Lahu, and De'ang. As a multi-ethnic city, it has amazing cultural diversity, and visitors can experience ethnic festivals such as the Water Splashing Festival and Munao Zongge Festival here.
勐焕大金塔，
勐焕大金塔又称芒市金塔
是中国第一金佛塔，
拥有“亚洲第一空心佛塔”
“南传上座部佛教圣地”等美誉。
传说释迦牟尼生前转世为金鸡阿鸾时曾生活于此，
这里是傣族朝拜的圣地。
Menghuan Grand Gold Pagoda, also known as Mangshi Gold Pagoda, is China's first golden Buddha pagoda, with the reputation as "Asia's First Hollow Structure Buddha Pagoda" and "Sacred Site of Theravada Buddhism". It is said that Sakyamuni was living here in his previous life as the Golden Rooster Aluan, which makes it a holy place for the Dai people.
勐焕银塔，
距离金塔大概五分钟的路程，
这是芒市最适合看落日的地方。
银塔是实心塔，
通体是银白色的，
塔尖上挂着风铃，
微风一吹，就能听到悦耳的声音，
可以在银铃声中追一场日落。
Minutes away from the Golden Pagoda is the best place in Mangshi to enjoy the sunset. The Silver Pagoda is a solid tower that is decorated with entirely silver-white. Wind chimes hang on the top of the tower, and you can hear the pleasing sound while the gentle breeze blows, which makes it a perfect place to enjoy a sunset while listening to the chimes.
勐焕银塔与勐焕大金塔，
矗立在芒市城边雷牙让山上，
金银两塔交相辉映，
远远望去，
如同芒市灵动的双眼，
又像是夜空中最亮的两颗星，
是芒市最具标志性的建筑。
The Menghuan Silver Pagoda and the Menghuan Golden Pagoda stand on the Leiyarang Mountain near Mangshi city. The two pagodas are designed to blend in with each other, enhancing each other's beauty. Seen from afar, they look like the eyes of Mangshi, or the two brightest stars in the night sky, which are the most iconic buildings in Mangshi city.
雷牙让山脚，
是勐巴娜西珍奇园，
它被誉为“天堂里的珍宝馆”。
可以近距离观赏古树名木、
珍稀植物、奇石珍宝等。
也可以非常近距离的观赏孔雀，
体验非常不错。
At the foot of Leiyarang Mountain is the Mengbananaxi Botanic Garden, which is known as the "place of natural treasures of heaven". Visitors can get up close to ancient trees, rare plants, unique stones, and other treasures here. You can also observe peacocks from a very close distance, which is an excellent experience for visitors.

Mangshi city not only has an architectural style with Southeast Asian styles but its food culture is also deeply influenced by the region. The food in Mangshi is unique and delicious, here you can try various authentic snacks such as Vietnamese rolls, Burmese rice baba, hand-grabbed rice, bamboo rice with boiled chicken, Paoluda, and iced coffee. You can experience as much as the Southeast Asian style without leaving the country.

This small city may not be well-known in China, even in Yunnan, but it brings people an especially comfortable sensation. If you want to relax and escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, this border town will be an excellent place to visit.
