Carole: Hi, Simon, do you have a minute?

Simon: Sure. What's going on?

Carole: We're experiencing trouble gathering funds from the debt sources for the Australian project, so I've been thinking that it might be reasonable to list on the stock market in Australia?

Simon: Oh, really, why?

Carole: Well, you see, the other major players in our industry have been expanding their market share recently. While we still manage to meet our sales targets, if we don't expand, we will need extra capital to fund our operations in the recently set-up subsidiaries.

Simon: Yeah, the rising cost of human resources is pushing our limits somewhat, isn't it?

Carole: That's right. For a hospitality company like us, pioneering going public in Australia might attract a lot of investors' attention. That will give us sufficient finance to set up the new hotel.

Simon: Great. How will we deal with the requirements of the stock exchange? They'll need a mass of documentation. They will all have to be checked by the auditors first, won't they?

Carole: Yes. If this sounds like a good idea, I can arrange an appointment with the auditors next week so that we can all sit down and talk through the details.

Simon: Okay. I suppose that may also allow any potential risks to be identified as well.

Carole: Of course! I'll let you know what the auditors say later today.

Simon: Alright. Talk with you later then.

Carole: Yes, thanks.
