Startled, she looked up to see the cat batting playfully at her pen. Suddenly, she had a brilliant idea!

The clause was met with stunned silence when it was presented to the fund's partners, but Jane held her ground and explained that her cat was her lucky charm, and that his approval was crucial to the success of the fund.
