这位药物发现负责人将领导再鼎医药药物发现团队的战略、科学和运营工作。该科学领导者将组建并带领一支高绩效的药物发现团队，推动创新性治疗项目从靶点识别与验证推进至候选药物提名，从而驱动科学创新和管线进展。 这位药物发现部门负责人需为一位成就卓著的科学家，在肿瘤学和/或免疫学药物发现领域拥有深厚的专业造诣。该职位将推动科学卓越、组织能力建设、管线优先级管理以及外部科学合作，从而支持再鼎医药的长期全球管线战略，并增强其自主药物发现能力。
任职要求
• 拥有博士学位，具备15年以上行业经验，并在领先的生物技术或制药公司中拥有领导药物发现的成熟经验。
• 拥有推动多个项目从靶点识别直至候选化合物（PCC）提名和IND申报的出色业绩记 录，优选曾将资产推进至临床概念验证（proof-of-concept）及更远阶段的经验。
• 在肿瘤学和/或免疫学生物药发现领域拥有深厚的科学专业知识。技能范围应涵盖：靶点选择、蛋白质科学、小分子药物评价、药代动力学、癌症及免疫疾病的动物疾病模型构建，以及IND支持性研究。
• 在建设科学能力、吸引和培养研发人才方面拥有成功的经验。
• 具备出色的沟通与影响力，能够有效对接科学团队、高管层及外部相关方。

The Role
The Head of Discovery will provide strategic, scientific and operational leadership for Zai Lab's discovery organization. This scientific leader will build and lead a high-performing discovery organization and advance innovative therapeutic programs from target identification and validation through PCC nomination, driving scientific innovation and portfolio advancement. The Head of Discovery will be recognized as an accomplished scientist and scientific thought leader with deep expertise in oncology and/or immunology drug discovery. The role will drive scientific excellence, organizational capability, portfolio prioritization, and external scientific collaborations to support Zai Lab's long-term global pipeline strategy and strengthen its proprietary drug discovery capabilities.
What You'll Bring
• Ph.D. with 15+ years of industry experience and proven leadership experience heading discovery functions within a leading biotech or pharmaceutical company.
• Demonstrated track record of advancing multiple programs from target identification through PCC nomination and IND, with preferred experience delivering assets that progressed to clinical proof-ofconcept and beyond.
• Deep scientific expertise in oncology and/or immunology biologics drug discovery. Skills should span target selection, protein science, small molecule evaluation, DMPK, cancer and immunology disease biology modeling in animals, and IND-enabling studies.
• Demonstrated success in building scientific capabilities and attracting and developing discovery talent.
• Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage scientific, executive, and external stakeholders.
