近年来，中国在全球创新指数（GII）排名稳步上升，于 2025 年首次跻身全球前十。2026 年《政府工作报告》亦将此作为评估中国科技创新进展的重要指标。本文基于 GII 系列工具，深入解析中国创新优势、近年表现及城市与区域层面的创新活动分布。
In recent years, China has steadily risen in the Global Innovation Index (GII) rankings, entering the global top 10 for the first time in 2025. The change in China's ranking was cited at the 2026 Government Work Report briefing as an authoritative indicator. This article explores GII tools to analyze China's innovation strengths, performance evolution, and regional distribution.

GII 涵盖人才与研究、基础设施、知识和技术产出等 7 个维度近 80 项指标，为中国创新优势与挑战的分析提供了详实数据支撑。
The nearly 80 indicators underlying the GII rankings across seven dimensions provide a rich data source for examining China's innovation strengths and challenges.
全球创新跟踪：动态视角下的最新趋势
作为 GII 系列工具之一，全球创新跟踪（Global Innovation Tracker）通过高频指标及时反映创新活动变化。2025 年数据显示，中国科学论文产出增长 14%，电动汽车和工业机器人保有量分别增长 56% 和 17%，但风险资本交易数量有所下滑。这折射出中国在科研产出与技术应用领域的强劲势头，同时也揭示了风投领域面临的挑战。
As one of the GII's suite of tools, the Global Innovation Tracker uses high-frequency indicators to provide timely insights. The 2025 Tracker showed scientific publications in China growing by 14 percent, and the stock of electric vehicles and industrial robots by 56 percent and 17 percent respectively, while venture capital deal numbers declined.
创新集群排名：区域集聚效应显著
2026 年 GII 创新集群排名从经济体延伸至城市与区域层面，通过分析国际专利申请、科学论文和风险资本交易，呈现全球创新活动的空间集聚。中国共有 25 个集群进入全球百强，数量居首，较 2025 年增加一个；深圳－香港－广州集群连续两年蝉联全球第一。创新集群已成为区域政策焦点，如深圳“十五五”规划明确提出发挥该集群优势，推动跨境科研数据流动、设施共享及人才合作。
The 2026 GII Innovation Cluster ranking extends the lens from economies to cities and regions. China has 25 clusters in the global top 100, the highest number of any economy, with the Shenzhen–Hong Kong–Guangzhou cluster ranking first globally for the second consecutive year. Innovation clusters are increasingly a focus of regional policy.

专题研究：深科技初创企业的规模化之路
GII 每两年发布一次专题研究报告。2026 年报告聚焦深科技初创企业，探讨前沿科研成果的产业化与规模化路径。报告选取了全球九个典型案例，其中包括中国的千寻智能（Spirit AI）和宁德时代（CATL），分享其推动技术商业化的实践经验。
Every two years, the GII explores an important innovation topic. The 2026 edition focuses on deep science startups, featuring nine case studies including two from China: Spirit AI and CATL, highlighting their experiences in commercializing frontier technologies.
