HiRO Completes the Acquisition of Pharmaceutical Solutions which will Broaden Coverage in Asia Pacific, and Enhanceits Clinical Operations Capability and International Presence.
Harvest Integrated Research Organization (HiRO), a Shanghai-based clinical research organization, has formally signed an agreement to acquire a 100% share of Pharmaceutical Solutions (also known as PharmaSols or PSL) business in New Zealand and Australia in October 2021.
The acquisition negotiation has been ongoing for over 9 months, with the HiRO’ and PharmaSols teams working together on multiple projects, participating in partnership collaboration, winning joint business and project bids. HiRO anticipates completing the integration by the end of the year. HiRO will initially focus on the growth strategy for PharmaSols. There will be minimal integration activity since the geographic area functions do not overlap and they are all highly complementary to each other.
PharmaSols has a long-term track record in Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) and has been perfecting excellence for many years. As a place to conduct clinical trials, Australia and New Zealand have many advantages.
