As the yearly rainy season approaches, it can be dangerous as the road is slippery and brings many problems for driving safety . We offer the following suggestions for safer driving in wet weather:
1. 更换老化或破损的雨刷片，雨刷片状况不好将无法把风挡玻璃上的水刮净而影响视线。
Replace old or brittle wipers. Wiper blades in bad condition don't clear water from the windshield very well and distort view.
2. 定期检查轮胎，花纹磨损严重的轮胎在湿滑的路面上行驶会因抓地力减小易出现打滑。
Check tires on a regular basis. Bald tires significantly reduce your traction on wet roadways and offer little resistance to hydroplaning.
3. 降低车速！湿滑的路面会增大刹车距离。靠近路的中央行驶, 外侧车道因为较低会形成积水。
Slow down! It takes longer to stop in wet weather. Stay toward the middle lanes - water tends to pool in the outside lanes.
4. 雨天或湿度高时车内的玻璃上会形成一层薄雾，在这种情况下开启空调并用仪表盘上的出风口将风挡玻璃上的雾吹净。
Rain or high humidity can quickly cause windows to mist up inside the car, turn on AC and adjust the swiveling dashboard vents so that the air flow strikes the windscreen.
Don't follow large trucks or busses too closely. The spray created by their large tires reduces your vision. If you must pass, do so quickly and safely.
6. 如果刚从积水中驶出，先试一下刹车，刹车片被水浸泡后会影响制动效果，可以采用低速行驶并轻踩刹车的方法通过制动系统摩擦发热将水烘干。
If you successfully pass through a deep water hazard, test your brakes. They may be saturated and only driving very slowly and braking lightly at the same time will generate enough heat to dry them out.
7. 积水中熄火不要贸然着车，应联系车辆救援机构或让其它车辆帮忙用牵引绳把车拽出来。
Do not attempt to restart as engine damage may occur, instead call for assistance or have someone pull vehicle out using a tow rope.
