开曼群岛金融服务部(「金融服务部」)于2023年11月1日宣布，开曼群岛公司年费将从2024年1月1日起调高。
金融服务部解释说：「鉴于过去十年政府为改善公司注册处提供的服务而进行的投资，特别是在技术方面，自2024年1月1日起，开曼群岛的公司年费将小幅增加。在过去十年，年费基本上保持不变。因此，将进行调整开曼群岛公司的费用，以弥补增加的服务交付成本。」
金融服务部提供的新公司年费摘要(以开曼元「CI$」计)如下所示。为方便参考，根据公司注册处的资料，开曼元兑换美元的汇率为0.82(即CI$1.00= US$1.22)。
The Ministry of Financial Services of the Cayman Islands (the “Ministry”) have announced on 1 November 2023 that the company annual fees in the Cayman Islands will be increased from 1 January 2024.
The Ministry commented that “in light of Government’s investments to improve the Companies Registrar’s service delivery over the last decade, significantly in technology, company annual fees in the Cayman Islands will be increased modestly, as of 1 January 2024. Annual fees have remained largely unchanged over the last decade. Accordingly, fees affecting companies will be adjusted to cover increased service delivery costs.”
A summary of the new company annual fees (in CI Dollar) provided by the Ministry is shown below. For easy reference, according to the Companies Registy, the conversion rate of CI Dollar to US Dollar is 0.82 (i.e. CI$1.00 = US$1.22).
