JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Interface with technical, operational and business client areas to resolve application, security and network/communication issues.
2. Documentation of technical proposals, estimates, system test and implementation plans, processes and procedures.
3. Participate in the implementation of projects as required.
4. Ability to multi-task projects and support activities, managing shifting priorities on a daily basis.
5. Ability to lead tasks from start to finish, following through to ensure successful completion.
6. Must be reliable, pro-active, results-oriented and attentive to details.
7. Participate in product requirement specifications and design process
8. Participate in developing conceptual and logical data models where required
9. Implement creative solutions to provide the best usability and user experience for our customers
10. Perform complete unit and Integration testing and deliver complete documentation during the application development life cycle (SDLC)
11. Address production issues as part of production support team for related systems when it is required
12. Write correct, efficient, scalable cross-browser front-end UI and mid-tier components
13. Implement best practices in application design and code development
14. Collaborate with QA to effectively resolve issues found
15. Track progress and deliver solutions on time
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 5+ years of solid experience in front-end web, Windows and mid-tier application development with C#, VB.Net, (Framework 3.5 and higher) ASP.NET
2. Solid experience in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML
3. Extensive knowledge of T-SQL and experience in writing complex and efficient stored procedures for SQL Server
4. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005-2012 and SSIS knowledge
5. Solid SSRS Experience starting with SSRS 2005 and higher
6. Solid Crystal Reports experience
7. Solid Experience with development and systems, integration of xml web services
8. Experience in data migration and transformation
9. Experience in development of financial systems
10. Strong understanding of source code control systems and QA processes
11. Nice to Have:
• Experience with content management systems
• Knowledge and experience with Entity Framework
• Knowledge of Windows Workflow Foundation
• A good understanding of network infrastructure and component
• Knowledge of VB6, VBA, QARun or other test automation tools
12. Excellent oral and written skills
13. Excellent problem solving skills.
14. Ability to troubleshoot complex bugs and/or areas of concern in existing code
15. Strong time management skills, able to multi-task and manage concurrent activities.
16. Must be flexible to adapt to a dynamic environment, make quick and sound decisions under pressure.
17. Must be highly self-motivated with a drive to deliver and exceed expectations.
EDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONS:
1. Undergraduate Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or technical equivalent.
2. Microsoft Certification would be an asset
