Trading & Risk Audit Manager

Mandate:

•Accountable for the planning, execution and technical quality of audits conducted by the Capital Markets audit team within an assigned portfolio of audit clients.

•Focus is on auditing capital markets Front Office and related market risk.

•Risk assessment of Front Office trading business incorporating market risk.
•Auditing processes, risks and controls related to trading.

Knowledge:

•CA/CPA with experience in auditing of Capital Markets or other banking operations
OR

•CFA or MBA or M.Finance or FRM with experience from Front, Middle or Back Office of a bank or broker.

•Experience in:
1.Documentation of business processes
2.Identification and assessment of risks within a process;
3.Assessment of the design and implementation of controls over high and medium risks
AND / OR
4.Design and performance of audit tests of the operating effectiveness of controls over high and medium risks.

Skills:

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills will enable the candidate to interact with senior management and executives in the Corporate Audit Department and the Capital Markets Line of Business and to build consensus on identified control deficiencies and appropriate remedial action.

•Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities, tight deadlines and increasing and sometimes conflicting demands from multiple stakeholders.

Manager, Capital Market Product Control

Mandate:

Leverage advanced Capital Markets product and accounting knowledge and critical thinking skills to effectively support the resolution of complex issues and play a key role in supporting the introduction of new products, technology and processes within the Product Controls department. Product Controls supports complex and specialized accounting activities, handles multiple legal entities, regions, asset classes (derivatives, equities, fixed income, structured notes, commodities) and accounting treatments (mark-to-market, hedge, available for sale).

Knowledge and Skills:

•CA/CPA or CFA or MBA;

•Strong Capital Markets and change management knowledge;

•Minimum 4 years work experience in public accounting or financial services;
•Superior time-management and multi-tasking skills to effectively transition between day-to-day responsibilities to change initiatives under tight deadlines and changing business priorities;
•Motivated, energized, team player with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
