George Yao
Vice President of the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley (Canada).
George was the top 10% of his class when he graduated from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management obtaining his MBA specializing in Finance. George also has a Master of Science and an HBSc from University of Western Ontario.
After three years of working at Accenture Ltd as a Management Consultant, George switched gears and entered the investment banking world as an Investment Banking Associate at Merrill Lynch; an Investment Banking Associate specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions at CIBC World Markets; and finally at Morgan Stanley as the Vice President of the Investment Banking Division. Specifically, George specializes in metals and mining; financial sponsors; communication and technology; mergers and acquisitions; and financial analysis.
