• Develop business case and project documentation (e.g. Charter/scope, requirements, Work Breakdown Structure, milestones/schedules, governance/roles &responsibilities, Request For Proposal, etc.) in collaboration with project sponsor, involved stakeholders, and the project team, ensuring that the project is set up for success
• Ensure compliance to the organization's policies and appropriate application of project management methodology/standards
• Identify and manage interdependencies and linkages with the program and across the enterprise
• Identify appropriate resources needed, assemble the project team, assign individual responsibilities, and develop the schedule to ensure timely completion of the project
• Ensure the project remains appropriately resourced throughout the lifecycle and all members on the team are adequately trained and supported; prioritize and manage workload of project team members in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines
• Manage the activities of cross-functional project teams in the execution of the project plan; teams could include members from across the organization as well as third parties
• Monitor and report project progress (e.g. schedule performance, financial performance, etc.)
• Proactively manage risks, and systematically resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner
• Facilitate problem solving and control changes to project baselines (e.g. scope) through accepted change management practices
• Experience with and understanding of leading practices in project management and process improvement
• There will be 5-7 staff. Candidates can come from Middle Office or Project Management or from consulting.
