Our WeChat Color Trend Report will be divided into six parts: To begin, Parts 1 and 2 will present Pantone Color Reports from New York and London. Parts 3 to 6 will include color information from latest international fashion shows, as well as contributions from an independent fur fashion designer, designers from famous Chinese fur garment brands and the color expert from a fur tannery.

How and when does Pantone launch their seasonal Fashion Color Report?
每一季的时装周发布期间，潘通色彩研发中心的团队都会亲自到纽约时装周看秀，他们将每场秀的资讯整合在一起，最终归纳出来自纽约的囊括女装和男装的10个流行色。2017年3月，潘通研发团队又将伦敦时装周作为新增的目的地，为全球的时装行业从业者再添一组伦敦时装流行色作为研发灵感来源。
According to the organization’s website, the team at the Pantone Color Institute evaluates trends in colors shown by fashion designers in their collections at New York Fashion Week each season. This information is then used to create The Pantone Fashion Color Report where the top 10 colors for men’s and women’s fashion for the upcoming season are highlighted. For the first time this year, Pantone has added London Fashion Week to their seasonal color reportage.

“There is a commonality between the colors we are seeing on the runway in New York and London.” says Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, in a press relase on Pantone.com. “However,” she continues, “individuality is evident and we are seeing a distinct difference between the shows in the two cities in the way these same colors are being combined.”
