I've always been fascinated by nanomedicine and precision cancer therapy, so this targeted drug delivery program was a perfect match for my interests and future goals. During the program, I worked as a core member of the experimental team. My main responsibilities included magnetic nanoparticle preparation, surface modification of materials, and in vitro cytotoxicity testing — participating in the full cycle of the research process.

Of course, things didn't always go smoothly. In the early stages, we ran into nanoparticle aggregation issues, which caused unstable data and poor reproducibility. My teammates and I went through every variable step by step, identified the root cause, and optimized the ultrasonic dispersion process while adding suitable dispersants. We eventually solved the aggregation problem and achieved more accurate and stable results. This experience taught me that research is all about precision and attention to detail — and that keeping clear, organized records of every step is key to troubleshooting and improving outcomes.

The study habits and solid academic foundation I built at AISSU were incredibly helpful throughout this research. I've always kept detailed notes, which made it easy to record experimental data and procedures in a structured way — and my mentor even praised my organization. The strong background in physics, chemistry, and biology that I gained at AISSU helped me grasp the program's core concepts quickly. Plus, the habit of asking questions and engaging actively in discussions helped me resolve challenges efficiently throughout the program.
