UK - China Going Global Workshop at the China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT)
活动背景与简介
【会议简介】
2025 年第二十五届投洽会期间，英国首次以主宾国身份亮相，创下历次中国展会最高参与层级——英国驻华大使率 300 余人代表团参会，408 平方米英国国家馆吸引超 1.1 万人次参观，达成超 2 亿英镑合作意向。
在此背景下，英国驻广州总领事馆、福建省商务厅与中国华南英国商会将在第二十六届投洽会期间，联合举办中国（福建）- 英国基建与清洁能源对接交流活动。
本次研讨会将聚焦英国专业服务机构如何为中国企业的对外投资的重点领域提供支持，以及英国各地在清洁能源领域的具体投资机遇，旨在为中国企业与英国企业及政府之间搭建对话交流的平台。

【Introduction】
At the 25th CIFIT in 2025, the UK served as the Country of Honour — its highest-ever level of participation in any Chinese exhibition. The British Ambassador to China led a delegation of over 300 participants, the 408sqm UK Pavilion attracted over 11,000 visitors, and UK-China companies reached cooperation intentions totalling over £200 million.
Building on this success, the British Consulate-General Guangzhou, Fujian Department of Commerce and BritCham South China will jointly host the UK–China Going Global Workshop at the China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) during the 26th CIFIT.
The workshop will focus on how British professional service providers can support Chinese outbound investment priorities, and specific clean energy investment opportunities across the UK, providing a platform for dialogue between Chinese enterprises with British enterprises and government.

英国政府高级发言人将分享英国最新的对华投资政策与净零转型路径。宁德时代（CATL）将作为中国企业代表，分享其在全球新能源市场的投资布局与成功经验。
此外，来自伦敦发展促进署和苏格兰国际发展局等英国各地区投资机构，以及鸿鹄律师事务所、特纳唐逊等英国顶尖专业服务机构的代表也将齐聚一堂，围绕中国企业“走出去”过程中的法律服务、工程咨询、金融支持、ESG 合规等关键议题展开深入讨论。

This event brings together key representatives from both the UK and China in the clean energy and infrastructure investment sectors.
Senior UKG spokesperson will share the latest UK investment policies and net zero transition pathways. Representative from CATL will share the company's global investment strategy and successful experience in overseas markets.
In addition, representatives from UK regional investment agencies including London & Partners and Scottish Development International, alongside leading UK professional services firms such as Bird & Bird and Turner & Townsend, will come together to engage in in-depth discussions on key topics including legal services, engineering consultancy, financial support, and ESG compliance — all critical areas for Chinese companies as they expand globally.
