convenient作表语时，不可用人作主语，而要用物作主语或用it作形式主语。如“当你方便的时候”应翻译成when it is convenient for/to you，而不是when you are convenient。

if I you can convince your customers of the quality of your product, I am convinced that you can convince them to buy it. What concerns me is your statement is not convincing enough. 如果你们能使顾客相信你们产品的质量的话,我相信你能说服他们买它。让我担心的是你的陈述不够令人信服。

【辨析】

convince与persuade都有“使坚信，说服某种事实”的意思。convince指通过讲道理、摆事实使人信服，语气较重persuade指用说理、恳求、诱导等方式影响别人的感情或愿望，使其不仅在思想上接受，而且见之于行动，着重于感情上打动或影响别人。convince+人+of+事，或接that从句；persuade+人+to do或接that从句。
